A Spark Off Our Own Flame

Why do people love their pets so much? Why is the attachment and the longing for pets so strong? Around the world, billions of dollars are spent on pet care each year; much of it not just for food, but for toys and specialty items. Some religions even offer a day for blessings of pets. St. Francis of Assisi was noted for such love of animals that he could hear them. What are pets really? Do animals have spirits? Is there a difference between domestic and wild animals? The answers are here; pets are literally part of us. Just as we are a spark off of the Divine Flame, domesticated animals are smaller sparks off of our own flames.

 We are given the choice before coming into these bodies of how many sparks we wish to let out to become our delegates. Delegates serve a specific purpose, they are here to teach us more about love, the giving and receiving of love, balance within these bodies and most certainly how to play! Delegates take these roles very seriously. Delegates operate within our own free will, they are a part of us and are here to help us. They are spirit off our spirit, just as our spirit is off of God’s.

Our sparks drop into what people generally think of as pets or domesticated animals. Once we have freely taken ownership and while the pet takes its first nap, the spark comes into the pet and it becomes our delegate. It does not matter if they were owned by other people before us. Think of it this way: when we sleep, our body is on automatic, our breathing and heartbeat continue, our body is still alive, but meanwhile we are not in conscious control of any of these things or even of having a body. This is because our spirit is busy and only thinly attached to the physical. That is why sleep is often likened to death. Except in death, the spirit does not re-animate the body.

This delegate spirit is why you may see similar personalities of animals you have had repeat time after time. While you work on those specific characteristics that you are expanding on, the life after life polishing of the facets of love continue and the core spirit brightens. Also, your new animal pet does not lose their own personality, it combines with your spirit brought in. For example, the genetic qualities, training and experiences will still remain intact.

We can have more than one delegate at a time. It depends on how many we choose to let out from us when we were coming into this body, this life. These sparks wait around us as parts of us until we have taken ownership of a pet or animal. Wild animals and fish will never be our delegates. While a fish may be calming to look at and watch, fish will always remain a food source. Our sparks will not drop into fish or wild animals.

Can you see why people love their pets so much? Can you see the attachment, and why the care and the longing for pets is so important? It is truly, the reuniting of a part of our spirit that has descended into our pet helping us to remember the place of love that we come from, the place of love that we are! Pets are so much more than pets, they are our delegates of love allowed for us at this time to experience even more about love. This is why people are so attached to their animals for they are a part of their very self! This is also why when you see animals being treated with abuse, you will see their owners being hurtful to themselves as well.

What about the non-domesticated animals or wild animals? These all belong to God. These are what we can think of as Father’s delegates. These are the place of love and joy for Father to feel and experience. It is easy to see how people of all cultures have had respect for animals in some regard and how those that we think of as being more spiritual have picked up on the respectful treatment of animals. When we take care of the wild animals, when we show love and respect for them, we demonstrate love and respect for the One who created us all.

Does it make much more sense now looking at why there are many organizations that look out for the welfare of pets and animals? All animals, whether they are our pets/delegates or they belong to God are a gift for all to learn about love. Those that understand love and seek to protect love have also sought to protect the aspects of love and righteousness, specifically in this case, the delegates of our animals.

What if there is only one domestic animal in a family? Our delegates are related specifically to an individual. If you are in a family and there is only one pet in the family, that pet is a delegate of only one person. Now this in no way limits the giving and receiving of love. Many know and understand the value of having a pet and although there is work and maintenance that goes along with it, the love that is there is immeasurable. When there is a pet within a family, there is love that is shared with all, and when that delegate is loved by others in the family, the person it is attached to is also loved.

Again it is important to look at how we treat our pets, since it is a reflection of how we do with love. Are we too hard on ourselves? Do we expect perfect behavior? Do we seek to have constant attention? Do we want to control everything around us? These are things that we can see reflected in the ways that we interact with our pets, and opportunities to change behaviors. As such, when we are kind and loving to our pets, we are learning more about love as well as showing love to the person whose delegate is the pet!

This is another reason why those who have pets may feel rejection when someone doesn’t care for their pet or when someone is mean to their pet. If the pet is neglected or ignored it is as if that person is neglected or ignored as well. When we show kindness and love to the pet of someone else, we are showing kindness and love to that person. This is a pretty neat way to experience the giving and receiving of love! To those that have pets or desire to have pets, this will make perfect sense. To those who don’t desire to have pets at all, know that you made this choice before coming into this life, and are not forced now to have them, since there are no delegate sparks there from you waiting to come in. They are only an additional opportunity Love gives us, and we can choose freely as we like for each life to have none, one, a few or many. It is, and has been, up to you all along. And each life you get to choose again what to decide for that time.

Like us, pets are in a physical body and these physical bodies have to be taken care of, and their bodies need balance and care to survive just as ours do. Remember this when you are questioning why your dog is eating rather than coming over to play with you. It is not that the dog doesn’t want to play, it is simply that they must eat to survive in the body. With all this information, we are not to take as offense what our pets do or how they react or respond in different situations. We are to look at it as an opportunity to learn, grow, make better choices, and love unconditionally through it all.

Have you ever been pestered by your pet to talk to them or pet them when you are having a really tough day? Ever feel annoyed because your pet wants you to take them out for a walk or play when you are frustrated? Ever feel the last thing you want to do is stop your work, yet that is the very thing that your pet is asking you to do? Can you see and understand now why all this is happening? It is precisely when you are frustrated or upset that your pet knows and feels this as well. As your delegate, they are intimately connected with your spirit. If you are in a bad place, they feel it. Their job is helping you to balance, to choose love, to lighten and to play! Your delegate is happy when you are happy and your delegate is sad when you are sad. Knowing that they are a part of you makes this easier to understand. Enjoy the love! Enjoy your pet. END

What Happens When a Pet Dies?

When death of a person or an animal is imminent, God lifts the spirit out. This is a place of comfort for us to know, since any images that you have seen of the body going into spasm or destruction before death is not felt by the spirit, since it is not in the body at that time; the body is only reacting on automatic. Before the body hits the ground from a tall building, before the car bursts into flames, before the animal’s throat is torn, before a murder takes place, the final impact is not felt. We never have anything to fear, not even death! God is gracious and kind to all, and though the physical body may not survive, the spirit does, whether animal or human.

Pets are literally part of us. Just as we are a spark off of the Divine Flame, domesticated animals are smaller sparks off of our own flames. We are given the choice before coming into these bodies of how many sparks we wish to let out to become our delegates. Now, when the body of a pet is worn out, when it is time for a pet to die, it is extremely important to understand that it is only the body that dies. The spirit of the delegate lifts out and awaits the next new body that you accept into your life as your pet. The delegate doesn’t die; it just awaits the next interaction. Depending on how many delegates you have waiting to come in, the delegate that was in the body that just died may come right back or may wait while another spark off of your flame drops in. Either way, it is about God’s Love being shown to you and you having the opportunity to experience more about love.

So as the pet is dying, it is important to let them know how great a job they have done, and that they have taught you a lot and helped you so much. Letting the pet know that it is okay to die and let go. They understand so much more than you may think they do. It is important that you give your pet permission to die. And it is important to understand that the delegate doesn’t die when the body of your pet does.  Let it soak in and be a comfort to you that the spirit of the pet, your delegate, will never be separated from you. Remember, they are a spark from your flame, but the spirit continues on. Sorrow is to be expected, we miss touching them, hearing them, all the five senses that were conscious of them in the “real” world now crave and remember what used to be. After their death, you may even find yourself being visited by your little one; a familiar sound, an indent on your bed next to you, warm beside you exactly where they used to be. You may even catch glimpses out of the corner of your eye, just as you can with humans that have passed on, and Angels. All these things are very real, and ways that The Big Guy wants you to be comforted and know that existence continues on past the body.

Your heart will let you know when to get another pet, and this is a decision that is not to be made by another person, but by you. Like all decisions in life, we have two choices, love or fear. Love moves us forward, fear stagnates and freezes us. If you find yourself not wanting to get another pet because of the fear of loss again, that is the wrong way to make a decision. Let love always be your motivating factor in all things, and follow through on what your spirit and Divine Spirit is telling you.

It is up to you to choose what kind of body you will be next be giving your new delegate. It is not necessary to choose a body that has already been beaten up. Many people gravitate to the animals that are sickly and in need of love. That is okay, but it is important to understand that the healthier the body of the animal, the longer the delegate can be around.

You are in charge of your choices, the type of body for your delegate or if you want one at all. You will know in your heart if you chose to have a pet before you came in. You will feel incomplete, and desirous of having one. This is an issue that cannot be forced. Do you understand now why during separation or divorce proceedings so much emotion is focused on pet ownership? With all this information, perhaps it will help parents to understand the strong desire of children to have pets as well. It really is not our place to say no to others about the decision of pet ownership, or even in what domestic form it may take; though it would show maturity and consideration to weigh factors such as cost, space, and care with all those involved where the pet will live. With all of this, remember that love never dies; and neither does the spirit of your little helpers, your touch-stone to unconditional love. A pet is a mobile sacred space of love, always ready to teach you more about who you are, who God is, and who each other is. Enjoy the love! END

What Does God Say? About Eating Meat

Is it right to eat meat? No matter what religious or spiritual background you may have, it is a valid question. If we are looking to know the heart of Divine Love in all things, why not also in our choices of food? Also, in recent years there have been very public health scares about meat consumption; we read of illnesses and death related to contaminated meat, and also about meat additives such as hormones and antibiotics. What is the best thing to do for our bodies and the bodies of those we love? Should we just stop eating meat? Or just stop eating red meat? Or maybe buy organic meat instead? How does a person figure it all out? Again, this is where knowledge beyond ourselves comes into play, the One who made our bodies knows what is best for them. What does God say about eating meat? What are animals anyway and why are they here? Is it primarily so we can eat them?

There are two kinds of animals on the earth, wild and domesticated. Just as we are sparks off of the Divine Flame, domesticated animals are smaller sparks off of our own flames. These delegates serve a specific purpose, they are here to teach us more about love, the giving and receiving of love, balance within these bodies and most certainly how to play. These are our pets, and they take these roles very seriously. Delegates operate within our own free will, they are a part of us and are here to help us. They are spirit off our spirit, just as our spirit is off of God’s. They are mobile sacred space, opportunities of unconditional love.

What about the non-domesticated animals or wild animals? These all belong to God. These are what we can think of as Father’s delegates. These are a different kind of extension of love and joy for Father to feel and experience life through. It is easy to see how people of all cultures have had respect for animals in some regard and how those that we think of as being more spiritual have picked up on the respectful treatment of animals. When we take care of the wild animals, when we show love and respect for them, we demonstrate love and respect for the One who created us all. There are many  examples of this, one being St. Francis of Assisi who often called the animals brothers, and was said to be able to communicate with them freely. Clearly, animals have much more to offer us then their flesh. Whether they be wild or domesticated.  

Does that mean that a person is doing something wrong if they eat meat? No, it does not. Tiffany Snow specifically asked the question during one of the experiences of her stigmata (the spontaneous opening of the five wounds of Christ). The information offered here is from that time of connection, plus Bible quotations are listed for reference as well.

When God first made mankind, he made them vegetarians. Interestingly, he also made animals that way too. “Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground – everything that has the breath of life in it – I give every green plant for food. And it was so.” (Genesis 1:29,30) Mankind and the animals were at peace with one another, and a primary objective was to spend time with them and get to know them well (Genesis 2:19, 20).

All this changed after the flood of Noah’s day. Now the original ecosystem had been destroyed, and new ways to live it in were given. “Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.” (Genesis 9:3,4) Along with this mankind now had a new relationship with the animals, as they also had among themselves. (Genesis 9:2) Now meat was added to sustain life in this new, less Edenic world.  It was given as a gift so that others could live. Why had the information about the true delegate nature of animals not been given in the scriptures before? God said it was because if mankind had known, they would not have eaten meat, and would have perished right after the flood, because there was not enough sustenance in the land itself through any other means.

God is so loving that he would allow for encroachment upon himself rather than have mankind suffer and perish by not having enough to eat. This is a precious insight into the tenderness of Love. This is Divine Love in action everyday, literally laying down one’s life for another. “Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends.” (John 15:13)

Be encouraged then to partake of the banquet that God has ordained for us. For God has allowed mankind to eat meat so that mankind not suffer or be in lack. It is a blessing given to us, with one condition. When meat was given to mankind it was also with the provision that the blood in it was poured out to God. The blood circulating in our veins is not ours, but on loan by God, it is considered his. “The life of the flesh is in the blood…drain out the blood and cover it with earth…you must not eat the blood of any creature…” (Leviticus 17:10-14) Many have wondered if this applies to how a meat is cooked, if eating rare meat is not recommended. But that is not the case. If the animal has been properly bled, that is all that is required, and need not worry us.

Yes, in all cultures throughout time we have seen the natural inclination that as spirituality increases, many have chosen to eat less meat or not to eat meat at all. But this is not required by God, but it is a free will choice available to man, and at this time of world imperfection, we are able to eat meat as needed or even desired. We are told in the Bible that if a person has faith that is strong, it will not matter what they eat. If their faith is weaker and they see a limitation upon themselves that they have imposed or bought into from an imposition of another and they think that they cause themselves harm by eating this food or that food, then they are not to be pushed to change. It is up to them. Accept their choices and allow their faith to grow with God. (1 Corinthians 8:1-13) For it is not what goes into a man that defiles him, but what comes out – not about what he eats or puts in his mouth, but about what comes from it. (Matthew 15:17-20)

From this we can also better understand the sacrifice of animals all throughout scripture. In the Old Testament we have many examples of an animal being offered as a sacrifice, to wash away sin (sin means literally “missing the mark of perfection” like an arrow missing the bull’s-eye). God asked that these animals be the first born, be pure and without defect and he asked that their blood be used as a cleansing. Does it make more sense now, knowing that it was God’s blood, through the animal, that was being used as a cleansing? God himself was rinsing away sin through his own blood within the animal offered. Now do you also see the forgiveness of sin that came through the life-blood of the perfect first-born son of God, Christ himself, poured out for all mankind?

So let it be known that it is up to each individual whether or not they choose to eat meat. That is between the person and God. We are not asked to live in fear, for fear stagnates and freezes us, love always moves us forward. Listen to the spirit of God within you, for he often talks to us in our own voice, and lift up any questions about eating this or that to God. It is not about following the news about the next health scare, which often includes vegetable warnings as well. But to live in faith and love, and in balance. This place of balance is where The Big Guy wants all of us to be, each of us to be the mystic and hear him for ourselves. Not to give our power away to others or live in fear, but to lift all things up and see if they resonate with our heart and spirit, to listen to the spark of God within us. That place of listening may be guiding your hand over which cut or kind of meat on any particular day, or it may be that place of remembering to pray a blessing over any food before you eat it, transforming it back into a state of health for us.

Now you have greater understanding of the deeper knowledge of animals and meat, and the love of God for humanity. Love desires us and our loved ones to be healthy, and fully guided and protected in all things. Especially as things speed up in this world shift and the dark becomes darker, more guidance and information is given, for the light becomes lighter as well, and Love wins! This love includes having safe and healthy food for the physical body, and the spiritual information to help us grow and understand ourselves and the world better, including the animals around us. The Third Secret ‘The Secret’ Didn’t Tell You

The law of attraction. The power of positive thinking. Seeing things as already accomplished, people already healed, life already full of abundance. These are the things we know can be true, and the main focus of the new movie ‘The Secret.’ There is a place inside of us that knows that we can truly have a life of happiness, health and prosperity, that anything less than that is not our true reality. So when we focus and see ourselves as healthy, and shift our thinking to attract the good things, why is it that often the final result still doesn’t match our expectations?

We may experience short-term financial gain, a reprieve from the illness, a flash of inspirational light in the darkness. Yet when we are honest with ourselves and acquaintances, we see that even with our best intentions, things still aren’t working out as we’d hoped. By personal experience many of us can honestly say that ‘The Secret’ is very good, and we recognize much truth in it  – but something is still missing. I want to share that with you here, for there are three aspects to manifesting intention. ‘The Secret’ covers only two – but not the most important one of all.

Let’s take a common example of intention, the wonderful desire to heal someone. As a healer and stigmata-bearer, I would say about 10% of the people who come to see me from all over the world are healers themselves, all utilizing various modalities. They come perplexed by their exhaustion and undiagnosable diseases. They come wondering why they are having struggles and if it is part of their karma to experience suffering. They come wondering why they have been able to heal others but not themselves. They have beautiful hearts and have consistently used that compassion to connect with others and heal them. They are experiencing illness, lack of abundance, and bouts of depression. They have the best of intentions, but their journey is not advancing well.

There is nothing like personal experience to convince us of the need to change things. To advance my own journey, a zigzagging bolt of light was the best way for me to remember who I am, my purpose, and my connection with The Big Guy. I was first awakened by a lightning-strike and near-death experience in 1999. Since then, there has been continual communion with the other side and further choices to empirically experience Divine Love through times of stigmata, which began in 2005. I have learned many deeper things, and further clarity on things that are popular and already known. So for me, since I had come from a traditionally religious background, one of my first questions was; “What religion is the right one?” The answer: “All those who love me.” Another question; “Are the Holy Scriptures complete?” The answer: “All the Holy Books are incomplete, so that man may reach out to me, and I will greet him, and he will know me by name.” All this made sense to me more than anything before, and empirical experience made it something I couldn’t ignore.

During one of these times of sharing, I was given the answer about intention and manifesting, and the three full aspects of it. I had only asked a simple question, “What is the role of the Guardian Angel? And as always, the answer gave me much more than I had anticipated. I was told this: we were all created as co-creators; not just about having children, but all of us were created in God’s image with the ability to physically manifest our intentions into being. But, through the free will choices of original mankind and other factors, our intentions aren’t always the best. For example, we may be driving down the street and a flicker of thought may go through our mind that an opposing car would swerve and hit us. So, in that instant, that is exactly what would occur. The Guardian Angel says, “No! That’s not a good one!” and stops it from happening. It may happen by another way, but it will not be from that flicker of unconscious intention that just went through our mind.

But, our good intentions are allowed to fly free – and are buoyed by our own energy. This is why the more passion and excitement we have over something, the greater chance it has of being accomplished and coming to fruition. This is when we experience the short-term financial gain, the reprieve from the illness, the flash of inspiration. This is also why we can feel exhausted and drained, even when our compassion moves us to these great things. This is the second part of intention, and why even our best efforts don’t last or are as powerful as we want them to be, because they are limited by our ability to create and sustain it through our own energy.

Now the key - the third part of intention is the ability to go beyond our own energy and to participate in the Divine Connection. The missing piece is God. It doesn’t matter what you call him, he knows what his name is. And there has to be a separate free will intention to allow this participation. Free will is a powerful and respected thing we all have and there is no “automatic” switch that goes on once we make a choice. There has to be an active desire, a place of connection or prayer, a joint participation of purpose. This is where we go beyond ourselves in the vulnerability and strength of Divine Love and interaction, beyond our higher self. This is the true secret of the universe, and where everything happens.

This is where the miracles occur. This is where any healing modality becomes “the best one;” where we recognize and sustain a loving relationship; where lasting abundance fulfills our every need. It is a place of connection beyond ourselves, but it cannot be done without our participation either. It is also not a place of simply “thy will be done.” It goes beyond that too – it is a place of active positive intention with all the specific details you envision it with. When you do this, you receive one of three answers back in return. (1). Yes. (2). Not yet. (3). I’ve got a better idea than that.  But without a doubt, you will be answered, and in a way that you will recognize, because you have remembered to be detailed and specific in your intentions.

Two things occur when you do this: (1). You will know without a doubt that an energy exists beyond your own and cares about you, and (2). You will recognize the celestial interventions that manifest in front of you, and grab onto them without fear, and also let any doors close behind you without fear as well. It is then you will begin to empirically experience the joy you always knew existed but couldn’t sustain for long. You will be living your life between candle and flame, beyond any religion of habit, past bad metaphysics - in the fullness of love, abundance and health, and you will be doing it Divinely. And you will empirically experience the final results matching your greatest expectations and intentions; for with love, all secrets can be revealed.  END

The Voice said, "Turn around, go back into the fire."

Before we went to bed Sunday night, my husband Billy and I looked at the latest fire information, said our prayers, and felt safe. We always said special prayers for our land, and the other 2 families here, and listened for Divine guidance, protection and direction in all things. What came to be known as the "witch fire" was miles and miles away near the town of Ramona, and there was no information given about evacuating Highland Valley Road, where we live. But within only a few hours it would be a matter of life and death to be able to listen to that voice in the midst of a firestorm of flame and cinders, surrounded with no open roads or discernable way out...

That Sunday the wind had been blowing fiercely, the Santa Ana winds were gusting down the mountain and through the avocado grove, piling a thick layer of leaves at our front door. I had opened the windows, the wind had always given me a feeling of exhilaration; and I was happy to see the leaves dance with the fall season change. Our two cats were not as impressed, and Munchi and Angel hid under the couch until I got the message and closed the windows back down. My husband noticed a light layer of dust on the counter, and there was a slight smell like a campground cooking fire in the air.
 
Highland Valley road is on a ridge line above the San Pasqual Valley, near the San Diego Wild Animal Park. The sunsets and views from here are wonderful, and though both roads down the mountain wind and turn for miles, it seems to be the favorite route for weekend visitors on their way to the quaint little town of Julian and their famous apple pie. Situated as we are on the outskirts of the three towns of Escondido, Poway and Ramona, it seems that city officials don't really know what area we live in, since on that fateful night of the fire, none of us on Highland Valley got reverse 911 calls to evacuate. Assuming that another area was responsible for making the calls left a gap in the system which left an entire area without warning.
 
My husband was in bed and I was in the living room on the computer.  About 3 a.m. Monday morning, I heard a distinct voice in my mind say, "we can't hold it back any longer. You must leave." I looked up quizzically and the adrenalin shot through my body - the house was surrounded by orange glowing smoke, and bright flames were racing toward the house from all sides, all in a circle about 300 feet away. I yelled, "Billy! The fire is HERE!" He shot out of bed, looked out the window, said, "Get dressed. You get the computers, I'll get the cats." We still had lights. I raced to the closet, praying for guidance, praying to stay calm. I grabbed an old Star Wars t-shirt with the slogan "Jedi - may the force be with you" and headed for the two laptops that have our business and book information on them. As a healer and stigmata-bearer, I had experienced many unusual things in my life, and the notes and information that came through those times of Divine connection were not to be lost. I remembered to pull the computer power cords out of the walls. I grabbed my purse. But I forgot my wedding ring and photo albums. "Get in the car! NOW!" Billy shouted to me, as he threw the couch to one side to try to get the cats. As he continued to try to capture them to no avail, I yelled back to him, "we can't wait, come now!"

We both knew the choice we had to make, our hearts were breaking - he grabbed his wallet, his cell phone, our prayer book of The Divine Decrees and raced out the door, and jumped into the car. We had done all this in only about three minutes. He looked over at me and said, "which way do we go?" All around us was the flames. It was upon us now. I listened. My heart was racing, but my mind was calm. Go up the driveway, then head down Highland Valley to the I15 freeway. We started up the driveway, flames everywhere, we were evidently in a pocket, and it looked like the fires had been burning longer around us. Our homes are behind a large wooden gate, which opens by electricity. In the few moments it took to go from our house to the gate, the electricity had gone out, and it wouldn't open. The car in front of the caretaker's little trailer was gone, so we knew he had probably left. There were flames behind his trailer taller than his home. We couldn't see our landlord's house on top of the hill, and I prayed they were alright. I asked if we needed to go up there and get them. I got the answer "no." They are an active but older couple, and I didn't know how they could get out as quickly as was needed. But I was not compelled to go up. I trusted I was hearing what I needed to hear.

Billy pulled the gate open, which felt unusually light to him, and we headed down the road. It was an eerie sight. The smoke was so thick; you couldn't see anything until you were upon it. We knew where the road was because it was the only one place the fire wasn't. It was just a black strip through the orange flames. Every house I could see was a bonfire. Any place there was fuel, the fire was taking as its own. I asked the Holy Angels to try to save our cats, and even our home if possible. I got the answer, "We will try our best." We are newlyweds, and all of our wedding pictures, my original songs from when I was in the music business, all of my paintings would be gone. The statue of Mary that wept whenever Holy stigmata would happen, and the two Angel statues above the bed that did the same, all would be burned. How could they not be? I would be happy to get out with our lives. I then asked God simply for that, and prayed safety for all those around us. All material things can be replaced. I took comfort in knowing that every song had been played, and every moment was recorded in our hearts, and none of that could ever be truly lost, the energy of it continues forever in our mind and in the mind of God, and expands out. So in the midst of the fire, I smiled.

All these thoughts were racing through as fast as wildfire (I know what that means now). My husband said; "I can't see the road. Hold on." I said, “I left my wedding ring." "It's OK, he said, so did I." We bypassed Bandy Canyon road, an offshoot that goes down the mountain in another direction, and we were again told by The Big Guy to keep going straight, down the seven miles of Highland Valley Road to the freeway. I wondered if we would be out of it after we got down the mountain. Instead, it was just as bad if not worse there, and each home was another bonfire blazing through the smoke. The heat inside our car from the flames was so bad I prayed our gas tank wouldn't catch on fire. A white alb (my husband is a Priest) was hanging in the back seat. I grabbed it and found a bottle of Holy Water under the seat and saturated a corner of it. We put the cloth over our mouths to breathe through. Our eyes were tearing from the smoke and our lungs were burning.
 
We had navigated down the mountain eyeing every burning power pole and watching for any lines or trees that had fallen across the way. Now we were finally only a few miles from the freeway, where the road splits between a swampy flatland on one side and a water treatment plant on the other. There was little room for error, and not being able to see through the thick, grey smoke everywhere, we ran off the road at the intersection. Amazingly, only the  front tires started to drop off the road,  and easily we moved the car back onto the road and continued navigating our way, gunning the car at times to make it through areas where the trees were on fire and hanging over the road. We came upon a car on the road, completely engulfed in flames, the Angels said no one was burning in the car. We got over as far as we could, and gunned it again.

We were driving through the fire with one ear to the heavens, and one ear to the earth. We were almost to the freeway now, only about a quarter mile left out of several. The smoke was less here, and we only had to pass by a plant nursery and we would be free. We briefly saw a horse trailer ahead of us, and then they disappeared into the smoke. We came upon people along the road, who had gotten out of their cars. "Is it safe to go the other way?" a man asked. "We can't get through this way, the flames are over the road. We can't get out." The nursery was on fire. I saw a vision in my mind's eye, how it was OK to drive through on the road, but that it must be quick, but I saw that people would panic as the flames blew through from one side to another over them, and I saw vehicles losing control and blocking the way, and then people could be hurt. It was like a TV screen before my eyes, showing what was about to happen. What to do?
 
"Turn around, go back into the fire" I heard. What? I said it out loud, "Billy, turn around and go back into the fire." My husband turned and looked at me. "What? Let's just be sure you are hearing right. You are under a lot of stress. Go back into the fire? Are you sure?" "Yes!" I said, turn around now, go back up the hill and into the fire!" So we did. We turned the car around, even though we were so close to the freeway, and hurried back into the thick smoke and flames as quickly as we had left them. "Are you sure?" Billy asked once more. "Yes! I'm sure!" I answered as we passed a power pole ablaze, the lines ready to drop. I knew that I was putting both our lives into the hands of Him who knew the way out, but was I confident enough in my ability to hear, for the calmness I prayed for was lasting even "under fire."
 
Now as a healer gifted by God, I have seen miracles happen under my hands thousands of times, I have seen the new medical reports, pet scans and blood work of others who God had brought through life-changing times. Now my life and that of my beloved husband relied on only a few words. No one else was coming down the road. It was nearly impassable. Our eyes were tearing from the smoke, our lungs searing. I thought in my analytical mind, "maybe this is so we can go down the other way, down Bandy Canyon, maybe that opened up now." But that wasn't the case. As we neared the intersection between Bandy Canyon and Highland Valley we saw through the haze two fire trucks sitting in the road, by one of the few places the eucalyptus trees were still untouched.
 
We rolled down our window, and smoke billowed in, "turn around," they said, "it's the only way out." "No, we were just there," Billy said. The man got on his radio, and confirmed, "You're right. There is no way out. Just sit tight here for a minute." He came back with two bottles of water and cloth filter masks and said, "we can't do anything else here, we are going to try to get down the mountain. Put your car in between us." At that moment, a small pickup truck with Hispanic workers in the back of it careened off the road and hit the back of the other fire truck beside us. They were told to place their vehicle between the two fire trucks as well. We were told we were going to leave in a few moments. We were going to be escorted down the mountain, with their full fire equipment and safety gear, including manual spot lights to check each crossing of the power lines. I knew this was the safe place God wanted us to be right now.

My heart was thankful, but we were still sitting in the road in the midst of the fires. The Divine voice came again. "You must move. There will be a flare up over the road in 5 minutes..."  "Billy!" I said, "We have to go now! Tell them we have to move NOW!"  Soon the voice said, "4 minutes..." The fireman knocked on our car and we rolled our window down. "We have to go now!" I shouted across my husband's lap, we only have a few minutes!"  The fireman seemed a bit taken back by my forcefulness, but assured me they are getting in their trucks now. On "2 minutes" we started moving, and slowly we caravanned down this alley of sorrow and hope. As I looked on, the fire raged onto the trees behind us, overcoming the trees right where we had been. Now we continued through the miles of orange smoke and flames, with other cars falling in behind us, and safely passed the nursery on the backside of Rancho Bernardo. We got onto the freeway. So many homes, and many new constructions, had burned. But many would also be saved. I knew this would be a time of miracles for many people, and many stories of thanksgiving would occur this night.
 
We drove south since the North 15 was sealed off by the local police and we kept going all the way to a hotel in San Diego, coughing, praising God for our lives and Divine direction, thanking the Holy Angels, and making phone calls all along the way. Our wonderful landlords were safe, they had actually been nowhere near the fire, but had been up visiting in Los Angeles. Our caretaker was safe as well. We called our families; none knew what had been happening. When we asked the hotel to book us for a few days, we were told they could only promise a couple of nights, because they were expecting a big convention in town. We told them things would be much different this week, and to expect an overload from people leaving their homes. They looked at us like we were crazy. I guess we were some of the first running from the fire. We collapsed on the bed, tried to get a grip on what just happened and then later bought some food and clothes, since all we had was literally 2 computers and "the shirts on our backs."
 
The next day we booked a flight to New York, to stay with relatives. First I asked in prayer about this, since we both wanted to stay here if there was anything we could do. We were told that it didn’t matter where we went, we were indented to the fire, and with that as a touchstone, would be able to help manifest changes in participation with the Angels from wherever we chose to go. We boarded the plane carrying our laptops in a canvas health-food grocery bag and our clothes in the Jedi t-shirt, with the sleeves tied into a knot to make a bag. Though people looked at us strange at first, when we had the chance to explain, there were always tears in their eyes, as they seemed to also understand how indeed "the Force" was with us, and how people are more important than things. I teased Billy, saying this is one way to get out of mowing the lawn, and how he was always after me to pack lightly for travel.
 
Two days went by, then three, and four. From my father-in-law's TV we watched everything we could, and I went online to try to get information about our house or Highland Valley Rd. My high emotions about the status of the property were clogging up any information I could get from Divine sources. I felt everything was OK, as if a bubble surrounded our area. The news we heard wasn't good. Neighbors above us had evidently been warned by friends to leave, but their bodies were found charred in the debris. The neighbors across from us had survived by jumping in their pool with towels over their head and watched as their house burned; others had driven their van into an empty field, and lived.

Through it all, I held out hope for our little home, and especially our 2 kitties. Yet even from Google-earth, it looked like our home was gone, and no roof was apparent, just a white square area where our house should be. This was difficult for me to see, since I could see other some other houses and distinguish that there were ceramic tiles on their roofs. Everyone, including my husband, said I should just let it go, that nothing could survive what we had driven through. So I tried to convince myself they were right, that it was just me being hopeful, and living my healing business mantra "Be realistic...expect a miracle!" So on the morning of the fourth day, I gave up the thought. A dear friend found us another place and was taking the steps to secure the rental for us, even volunteering to furnish it for us. Times like these truly show what is deep in the heart of each person, and will bring it to the forefront. Even as the TV news reported  some people were going behind the fire lines and looting homes, other people were opening theirs up to strangers.
 
I had seen unHoly Angels in the forefront of the flames, I knew they delight in destruction. This fire was not "an act of God," The Big Guy is all about love, not punishment, he doesn't bring the bad stuff, but he desires to save us out of it. A few days before the fire, we were given an illustration about how we are all asked to be the mystic, to hear him for ourselves. He said, "As the arrow leaves the bow for your destruction, you will be told to move right, or to move left, and you must do so without hesitation and without question." We had no idea this would be literal for us in just a few days. During a fire, everything changes in a second. We had to be open to change too, and go with it.
 
The call came later on this same fourth day, in the afternoon, from our landlords. "We are calling you from inside your house, it is here, everything is intact, and I put food and water out for your cats. Our house is still here too and is fine, and even the caretaker's trailer. Everything around us is gone. Part of the grove is damaged. It is a miracle." I cried with amazement, when the Angels say they will try their best, there is a lot to that!
 
The fire burned a circle around our land; most everything around us is devastated. Friends said our home didn’t even smell like smoke on the inside. We couldn’t wait to return. It would be another week before the water and power would be back on, so we spent a few more days visiting in New York, now sharing the happy ending to our story. We had many friends who gave our pets love until we returned.
 
It is unreasonable that our place exists, just as it was unreasonable to turn around and drive back into the fire. I have learned much from this experience. I have learned that seeing with the literal eyes can sometimes distract from seeing the real truth through the eyes of faith. I have learned that Divine direction is always there and that we can hear it even in times of ultimate stress. And I have learned that contrary to stereotype, there are men who will ask for directions - and listen to their wives even when they are told to drive back into the fire! Through this experience, I have run the gamut of emotions: joy, sadness, melancholy, loss and elation. For me, it is similar to the stigmata, like a resurrection while still in the body, a rebuilding from the inside out. There are many people digging out from the ashes. People will either choose to praise God for their life and the lives of their loved ones, or blame him for the losses that have occurred.
 
As I see it, there are only two choices, love or fear. Love moves us forward, to rebuild, to have hope, to re-grow. Fear stagnates and freezes us, and keeps us from being the true potential we were created to be, and having the beautiful lives we were meant to have. We all have defining moments in our lives, and the San Diego fires have been defining moments for many people: for the heroic firefighters who guided so many to safety, for the police who helped keep people calm and directed their exits, for all those who listened to that voice inside telling them, "go this way or go that way." May we be thankful for our lives, and see everything else as just an additional perk along the way. When we use our free will to go beyond our own energy and connect with Divine Energy, we have unlimited resources and guidance. Its in that place of unity and trust that we expand, and allow ourselves to be safely led, by God’s voice and our own that he placed within us. Even now, can't you hear that voice inside you telling you that? Believe me, you can trust that Voice with your life, we did.
 
***update - we are back and everything is so surreal, people sifting through the ashes of their homes while others are merely cleaning their windows. There is melancholy in the air, and mixture of the full spectrum of emotions. It is like southern California has been through a war, and is experiencing post-traumatic stress syndrome. Update on our home - it is in perfect shape, as are our kitties! There is burn everywhere else, and definite lines clearly seen around the perimeter of our home. Even though (didn't we keep the Angels busy!) we left 2 one-gallon containers of gasoline for the lawn mower on the front porch, right against our home. And we have water, and even the power is back on. So now I am back at work continuing to fulfill the commission The Big Guy gave me, "Heal my children, help them remember who they are," with hardly a bump. God is good! END

God, Lightning, and Healing Hands
My Spiritual Journey Begins with Death

“Stars!” I shouted through the thunder to the appaloosa pacing behind the chain link fence. “Stars! You are always the one getting into trouble! In the middle of a storm trying to find fresh grass!” As I let the chain of the tractor shed down with one hand, I steadied myself against a wooden structure pole with the other. The horse bolted up the pasture, as the finger of God bolted down. That stormy day on my horse ranch in Tennessee, standing in the pouring rain with my arms outstretched, I was struck dead by a bolt of lightning…

Not everyone needs to be struck by lightning, or have a miracle happen, to understand God’s will for his life. But, that is the method that God used to fix up one of his most broken kids: me.

It was summertime in the South. A time of good green pasture for the horses, ripe tomatoes on the vine, and long drives in the country. Life seemed wonderfully slow for me that gracious summer; as slow as the drone of the honeybees in the apple trees, as slow as the preparations for the upcoming county fair. For the first time in many years, all four of my children had come together for vacation time, and I knew that it would be the last tick of the clock before their lives would get too busy to experience this again. I was making every opportunity to show them a full and adventurous summer. Life had never been so materially good! I was thankful to share the riches of my new life as a new wife. We would swim in the pool, watch movies and ride the go-cart. We would drive the jaguar in the country and go camping and have picnics. We would ride the horses.

I could overlook the growing detachment of my husband and the late night phone calls. I could also ignore the mysterious apathy and disdain my oldest daughter had for me. I could overlook the bill collectors’ constant threats and the new expensive toys being brought home that we couldn’t afford. I thought I could make it through anything - hadn’t I just survived my fourth encounter with possible death? Even the doctors were amazed. The venomous spider bite had tried to shut down my breathing and my heart, but the doctors knew what drugs to pump through me and I had made it through - and this had happened just the previous week!

My husband and I had been married only a year and a half. The marriage counseling would work. He would stop comparing me unfavorably to his “special friend” of seventeen years, telling me about her just two weeks ago; and for me to “just deal with it.” He would stop needing her. He would remember he loved only me. I hoped time would blow away the ominous gray clouds gathering in my personal life. I kept telling myself time would help, and I would adjust again, somehow.

I hoped that if I closed my eyes and wished hard enough, everything bad would just disappear. Hadn’t I gone through this enough times? Why did this keep repeating itself? Why did I continue to make poor choices about the mate in my life? One thing I had learned - that I would feel that I didn’t deserve this and that God had abandoned me. Then I would usually try to fix things myself. When that would fail, I would then call upon Him, and he would bail me out, change the situation, and slowly mend all the broken parts. But this time, I felt there was no way my life could be fixed. I was broken beyond repair. I felt I had no mission, that my life had no purpose.

I was so tired of starting over. For the first time in my life I felt I had some material advantage, and I did not want that to change - the children enjoyed it so much, and so did I. I chose not to pray about it - I felt I would sacrifice my happiness for whatever short-term material gain could benefit the children and me. My life had been messed up too much, and too many times. There was nothing left for me. So I decided I would do what my husband said, and just “deal with it.” I would resign myself to ignoring the problems around me, and just struggle from day to day, with a fake smile and heavy heart. Love between people seemed only a façade for control. I felt already dead; my heart knew no joy. I was without hope, and felt helplessly broken.

Although I refused to see the storm swirling under my own roof, I couldn’t ignore the rain and thunderclouds gathering outside over the valley. Strong winds were blowing up the hill over the pasture; rain was beginning to pelt the garden. That’s when I ran out of time. And I would never look at time, and many other things, the same way again. My old life would soon be over; the former anxiety ridden, hopeless person I was, literally died on that summer day. As the rain worsened it sounded like large marbles dropping on the metal-roofed sheds. I had to go check on the horses. I had to make sure they were safe.

One of the horses, a leopard appaloosa, had gotten under the chain placed across the driveways of the carport where we kept the tractor, truck, and various farm implements. He was trotting around anxiously looking for a way out, and I was afraid he was going to hurt himself. “Stars!” I shouted. “Stars! You are always the one getting into trouble! In the middle of a storm trying to find fresh grass!”  I steadied myself with one hand on a wooden support pole and with the other unhooked the chain and moved aside. Stars ran out, kicking up his heels. I went to click it back into place, and a bright light burst around me, with a deafening roar.  

My muscles instantly contorted this way and that – reminiscent of the wild gyrations of John Travolta in “Saturday Night Fever.” I was doing an uncontrollable electrical dance. There was an instant of terrible pain, and then I felt no pain, and actually gained clarity of thought. In that split second, I turned around and tried to push my chest against the corner of the parked truck, remembering that electrical shocks often stop the heart. Then, my eyesight narrowed and I felt my body slowly slide down the bumper onto the wet earth; and all went black.

The next thing I knew, I found myself standing on nothing, way up in the universe, and there were distant colorful planets all around me. As I lifted my arm, I could see misty pinpoints of stars through it, and when I moved it back and forth it made the stars look wiggly, like a reflection on water. I felt dizzy. I had a sense of being able to see not just in front of me, but all around me at the same time. Floating just a few feet from me, I saw a man with a spirit body just like mine (no wings), though he was short and had slanted eyes. He spoke to me with a voice that I heard inside my own head, saying: “Don’t be afraid, it’s ok.”

On the other side of me, another spirit person, this one much taller and with chiseled facial features (again no wings), nodded approvingly at me. All the while, we were moving with great speed toward a great ellipsed ball of spinning light; it was brilliantly white in the middle and yellowish on the outside edges. The closer we got to it, the more I felt overwhelming Love; it seemed so warm and comforting, it encompassed my very being…like the security of a favorite grandfather’s arms gently wrapped around a child on his lap. How wonderful I felt!

We stopped. The bright light was still far from me. I wanted to go on, I felt like a magnet, irresistibly drawn. The desire to “blend” had grown stronger the closer we got – I knew this place was the heavenly throne of God himself! Why had we stopped? As I stood there confused, yearning toward the Greatness  beyond my reach, a glowing luminousness appeared in front of me. Gold and white sparkles came together in a glowing spiritual body, a giant image in the shape of a man with broad shoulders. A Divine Presence was here!

A gentle voice called out from this realm of golden sparkles massed brilliantly in front of me – “what have you learned?” he asked, in a nondiscriminatory and non-accusing way. The voice was so soft and tender, yet the presence of Divine authority was there; I knew without a doubt that it was the voice of God’s own son, the very-much alive Jesus Christ.

Then - all of a sudden, life events unfolded before my very eyes! Key moments where I showed anger to people, and also where I had showed love, appeared like scenes out of a movie. I could feel the anger and hurt of the other person whenever I had been mean; and I also felt the anger as it rippled on through to others. I had never before faced the horrid deepness of my own sin. Then, where I showed love to people, I felt that too; and how much further that rippled out from person to person, as a warm pulse triggering cause and effect in all things that were wonderful and blessed…I had never before experienced such joy!

Then the presence of Christ said, “the flesh is the test of the spirit…love each other.” Words of wisdom imparted to me! I felt overwhelmed with love, and so privileged. The spirit on my right then talked inside my head again, and answered many questions on my mind. He also taught me details about many wonderful and sacred things. A seed was planted within me; a groundwork had been laid. And I knew that God wanted me to share this information later on, and would give me the ability to understand it. In fact, many things “I didn’t know I knew” end up being in the pages of the books I am asked to write, and what a joy they have turned out to be – to love and share with so many people in this way, and to be loved back!

While I floated there before the consciousness of Christ, the very presence of Jesus, the spirit then told me something that I didn’t at all understand: “welcome to the world of healers,” he said. This was a shock - I had no idea what that meant. I had never believed in such a thing! The church I had been with believed healing had died out in the first century with the Apostles, and also that NDEs were only reactions of a dying brain. What could this welcome mean?

At this point Christ went back into formless sparkles and faded away, and the stars and space behind his glowing features were visible once again. Such effervescent beauty and colors twinkled around me, like being in the midst of a sparkling aurora borealis. So many shapes of heavenly bodies transfixed in the cosmos, all unique and necessary, all untold distances away. Yet they felt so close that it seemed I could reach out and pluck them out of the sky, and carry them home cupped in my hands.

The slant-eyed spirit went on and continued to teach me even more. He pointed out different stars, planets, distant colorful swirling lights of all kinds, and gave names for all of them. He continued to fill me up and give me answers to thousands of questions that I never had questions for! Reams of information seemed to be exploding in my brain, like an empty library suddenly being realized! Details flooded my being about many wonderful and sacred things. I wondered: were these things newly learned, or just somehow remembered? Everything somehow felt familiar, in the Oneness of it all. I also became aware of thousands of others around me; observing, encouraging and fully loving and accepting me. I saw two children excitedly talking with each other about coming back to earth and what their new purposes would be. We live more than once. And I remembered that I had forgotten that! And I realized that in many things I had chosen tradition and pleasing others in how I viewed myself, others, and God.

The spirit who was speaking to me did not offer his name, and I did not ask. I wanted to be careful to show homage only to the True God, not to any one else. And I wanted to stay! I wanted to join myself with God’s swirling life force, his essence, the core of heaven, was just beyond! But, I wasn’t allowed to go any further. No! I wanted to go to God! I wanted to feel more Love! “Why can’t I be with you now Father? Please, Abba, Please!”

I listened as hard as I could listen, waiting for the words of God. Then, just on the outside of my understanding, I faintly heard voices singing the most beautiful melody I had ever heard in my entire life. I absolutely knew that these were the blessed voices of angels and those joined with God, and came from his swirling brilliant presence, the core of heaven. There were no musical instruments, but instead, each voice lent itself as one in perfect harmony and variations of pitch and melody, flowing and moving perfectly together as easily as a flight of winged birds.

I knew it was praise for The Father, but I just couldn’t make out the words the Angels were saying. If only I could step forward just a bit more…but I was rooted in place. I felt so sad. Then all at once, words started resonating throughout my entire body as if I was standing in front of a huge amplifier at a concert stadium. It was the voice of God. It was not a hearing through my ears, but throughout my entire being. “If you love me, heal my children, help them remember who they are.”

Free will. What would I do? Yes, I would participate, I would offer. How could I not? How could I say no to God? I knew I would be totally loved and approved of either way, but I knew I would be missing out on an opportunity to expand the ripple effect of love. I needed to go back to the earth. I also wanted to make a “better movie” of my life. So there and then, I vowed to be a vessel to do only his will, I would go back.

I absolutely gave myself to him. I wanted desperately to show how much I loved him, and to share the reality of his existence with others! His will, not my own, I promised, would govern the rest of my life. If he could use this broken piece of clay from the earth, it was all his. I totally dedicated myself and surrendered all desires. Instantly, I felt a child-like sense of wonderment as a warm flood of bliss and peace overpowered me, and a warm tingling sensation filled me, like warm liquid honey flowing from the top of my head down to my very toes! What was happening to me? It was the baptism of the Holy Spirit, an anointing more commonly experienced on earth, that I was experiencing here in heaven. At that moment I knew that I would have abundant help with the work. For his children, I would be an instrument of opportunity for teaching and healing. They would be shown the true identity of a powerful loving God who loves them and desires to be an active participant in their lives. Clearly, I had a mission.

I was shown by Father that in the future I would be speaking to thousands of people at a time on spiritual things, not religious – and great healings would be happening. And the gifts of God would be poured out just for the asking, and great manifestations of signs and wonders would be occurring within the audience itself, and the Spirit of God would move all to love and remembrance of who they are, who one another is, and who Father is! All this would be occurring as the darkness in the world got darker; for the light would become brighter too. And love would win. This time is now.

Then I felt myself sinking, as if falling through a bed. I was being pulled back. I was leaving heaven. Instantly all my emotions welled up inside; remorse and joy, grief and exhilaration.

With that, I woke up, my husband shaking me by the shoulders. Somehow my physical body was now lying on the front seat of the truck, although I had left it outside in the mud. I knew clearly this was God’s hand in helping the physical body to survive. Three hours had passed since I had left the house to go to the tractor shed. The storm had moved on, though later we observed that there was evidence of at least three other strikes on the pasture, besides the one that had struck me. We saw the spots blasted on the earth. I had been under one of those blasts.

At the emergency room I was hooked up with wires and given tests to check my heart. A thorough exam revealed that it had not been damaged. But, my eyes and ears were affected very badly, as was my sense of balance. I couldn’t see very well, or hear much at all. I felt dizzy, but keenly calm and aware of the reality of my experience. The only piece of jewelry I had been wearing at the time was a single diamond earring. A brown burn mark now encircled the gold stud where it went through my ear. My skin tingled all over and was extremely sensitive to the touch, especially on my arms and in my hands. It hurt to wear clothes.

The doctors told me that I had been very lucky; the doctor said that often an arm or leg gets blown off during a strike (was he kidding?). People often die (and don’t come back – yes, I knew that). They reasoned that because I was holding the chain with one hand and the wet wooden pole with the other, the current had passed through me, instead of grounding in my body. I knew they wouldn’t believe me if I told them it had been a Divine strike, that God offered this as a wake-up call, and that I had been before the presence of God (and oh, by the way, Jesus spoke to me!). They would have kept me a lot longer than they did, and probably in a little white jacket, in a locked padded room to boot!

I spent a few days in bed, oscillating between a wild mixture of extreme happiness and unbelievable sadness. The emotions ran deeper than any I had ever felt. I was glad for the experience, but I was experiencing such homesickness! I kept re-living the event over and over in my mind, every detail emblazoned into my brain. I was determined that even if I forgot my own name, I would never forget this. I tried painting what I had seen - oil paints on canvas. The colors, no matter how I mixed them, were not brilliant enough. Nothing could capture what I had seen and felt. I felt sad again. Then once more, happy for the experience. Then confused. What did it all mean? I was losing the clarity. I prayed consistently to God to help me hear and feel him even though I was back in a physical body. I was afraid I would forget everything and all would be lost.

After a few days, I was back to my chores, including putting salve on Star’s skin infection. For six weeks I had smoothed on the medicine the vet had given me, but still the red blisters kept spreading and killing the hair all around his girth. Now I had run out of medicine, so I just rubbed his belly lightly around the outside of the infection because he had grown used to the attention. I noticed that my hands were getting very hot. I thought it must be bacteria from the infection, and when I washed my hands under cold water it went away. I didn’t think anything of it.

The next day, I walked up to rub his belly again - reminding myself to get new salve soon - and noticed that all the blisters had turned white and some were falling off. I once more rubbed around the infection, and my hands turned hot once more. The next day when I went out, all the blisters had fallen off, and there was evidence of new hair growing back. I thought this was mere coincidence. The medicine must have finally worked. I didn’t correspond it to what I had been told.

The next week, I took my cat in to be spayed. The vet said it would take 10 days for the stitches to completely heal. On the first day, she didn’t want anything to do with me. But, the second day, she was in my lap as much as possible. She just would not leave me alone - even yowling for me if I left the room! Every time I would rub her and pet her, I found that my hands would heat up again. On the third day, she tried pulling the stitches out with her teeth. On the morning of the fourth day, I decided to look at what was going on, and found that the skin had healed so well that the stitches were puckering her skin up tight. I found myself embarrassed to take her back to the vet - what would he say? So I carefully cut the threads and pulled them out myself, through skin that bore no surgical scar. Now I began to understand what was happening. I could heal animals.

Then, I wondered, will this work on me? The very next day, I made connection in prayer to God, and as I gave free will for healing, I was mentally transported to heaven, and saw myself standing before God once more, as in the near-death experience. I saw myself lifting a body up in my arms towards God, and the body was me. In real life, I placed my hands hot on my forehead, and on various parts of my body. Then, I made an appointment with the doctor. A previous mammogram had shown a lump in my breast, which they had recommended further action on, but I had put off. A former doctor had told me I had fibroid cysts in my uterus, which could only be removed through surgery. Also, I had a torn rotator cuff in my shoulder, which had prevented me from sleeping well for the past six months(a fall off of Stars).

I anxiously awaited the test results: …the mammogram showed the lump was gone…the diagnostic ultrasound showed clear, the fibroid cysts had disappeared. …also, I could sleep at night without any pain; my rotator cuff was healed.

Hesitantly, I started sharing this new gift with my friends - and that’s when I ran into trouble. I found that I was taking the pain of their ailment onto myself. If they had a migraine, I would get a migraine. If they had stomach pain, I would get stomach pain. That scared me - I found myself afraid to use the gift. Maybe I was using it wrong? Why would God give me a gift that would harm me to use it? I felt I wouldn’t last very long in this work. And yet, I knew in my heart that God wouldn’t give me something that would be unsafe for me to use. What was I missing?

I thought I might find answers if I watched the healing ministries on TV. For the first time in my life I wondered if they could actually be legitimate. I had never believed in this sort of thing - I had always felt it must be fake, simply a showy display to raise money and give people false hope. Now I wanted desperately to talk to one of the healers. Did they feel sick afterward? Had they each been told, “welcome to the world of healers?” in some way? Was I part of this same group? What did God want me to understand? There was no way to contact anyone. I knew somehow I would be guided to the answers I needed about how to expand upon the gift, and how and where.

I continued on this way for a time, confused by the gift. I thought maybe I would work only on animals; I did not feel their pain. I imagined myself working for a veterinarian, alone in a back room, quietly healing all the little ones. I didn’t know what to do.
So, I prayed for understanding, and what I found were words overflowing back at me from the scriptures of the Bible. The pages would randomly fall open to pertinent information, and my eyes would emblazon on the scriptures he wanted me to see. They popped out as brightly as if a yellow marker pen highlighted them! Dozens of scriptures!

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah. 29:11)

“You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.” (Matthew. 5:14)

“...fan into flame the gift of God, which is in you through the laying on of my hands. For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline.” (2 Timothy. 1:6)

A friend told me about a group of people in town that offered hands-on healing so I thought I would go talk to them. Twice a month they would gather here in this upper room and invite any who wanted to come.  Their hands were hot like mine; and the people they were attending had come from the community, mostly the poor and the curious. When I entered the room, I saw many people sitting around tables, with a person lying peaceful upon the table receiving the healing. They were in prayer, and I saw a picture of Jesus hanging predominately on the wall, which made me feel comfortable. They called what they were doing Reiki, and although many use this form of healing without prayer, these were incorporating it as they moved from one part of the body to another. I prayed about what I was seeing and felt at peace.

On the desk was information about this Japanese technique, and I thumbed through it. There was a picture of a man, Dr. Usui, who had given Japanese hands-on-healing this name of Reiki in the early 1800’s, although it had been known for hundreds of years before. He had started many healing clinics in Japan. I looked at the picture and gasped - I knew this man! This was the spirit with slant-eyes and rounded belly that was beside me during my near-death experience! The very same man! My Goodness! God works in very, very mysterious ways!

With this, I knew what my next step was; and I went through the training classes of Usui Reiki. This was a touch-stone offered to help me begin feeling comfortable about group healing. As soon as I made the decision to become trained, any pain from doing any healing disappeared, and now I felt energized and euphoric after the healings. It wasn’t the Reiki that made it disappear; it was the decision to openly follow-through on what I had promised to God. The Big Guy has always used healing and miraculous signs and wonders in all parts of the earth in all cultures, in all periods of time. It doesn’t matter the training or technique – it matters Whom you are making connection to; and choosing to be an opportunity for that Love to transform and manifest. And it is up to the person who is receiving that healing to use free will to participate in welcoming it or not. God is big on free will. But he offers opportunity to all regardless of boundaries, cultures, or era. He’s a great guy, and truly to be healed and to remember who they are!

So again, adding prayer and recognizing God’s Love is what makes the miracles happen, no matter what the name of the modality is. With prayer all transformation takes place. It is not the method or terminology or what analytical touch-stone a human might use. It is the faith in God and the prayer with connects spirit to Spirit.

When God gives his people a commission or Divine gift, he does not do it without a specific purpose. So many times I had been absolutely shattered, yet he had still held me gently in the palm of his hands. There had also been many times we had walked together hand-in-hand, and many times I had turned away from him, hid my face in shame or in anger, and withdrew my hand from his. Yet, his arm was still outstretched, and he still loved me…I was astonished. Unbelievable! And now, he gave me a real purpose, along with a job where I would be working in direct communion with him everyday. He wasn’t tired of me yet! I would also be making friends and helping people from all walks of life, social standing, color and religious or spiritual background. I would get to be the nurse’s assistant to the Great Physician. I would get to see the miracles as he reached out to tell his children he is not only real and cares about them, but also has the power to manifest and transform our struggles. He desires so to have no distraction from the joyful, abundant, healthy and loving lives he desires us to have, and from fulfilling the dreams and purposes placed within our hearts.

So why the lightning strike and near-death experience? We all have defining moments, and this was mine. I was a most stubborn child in clinging to what I thought I knew. I had been so resistant, having “blinders” on and putting “God in a box,” that only an empirical, first-hand experience would open me up. I had a purpose now, and I did not have to suffer in silence or ignore my plight. I could be strong again, because his strength was in me. Everything was made anew! By Free Will I had died to self at the foot of heaven and upon the earth - and he had resurrected me up again. I was a new person. He opened me up! I vowed I would never allow myself to be closed down again.

I asked to float in his love as easily as a feather upon the breeze, and that I would go wherever he led me. “The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.” (John 3:8)

Now, my entire life is an adventure and an aware spirit journey! I get to see cancer disappear, brain tumors shrink and go away, blind eyes see and deaf ears hear. I get to be there when the arthritis melts away and chronic disease abates. I get to be there to see the addictions leave without side-effects, and I get to help bring peace, calmness and joy to lives of mental depression and hopelessness. I get to see infertile couples experience the joy of carrying a child in their bellies and in their arms. I meet people from all over the world, and get to be there everyday when incredible things happen, and form friendships that are deep and moving. Along the way, this wider connection with God has led to other interventions of Spirit, such as miraculous long-distance healings, medical intuition, locating missing children, helping on crime scenes, visions and prophecies. Through this Oneness of connection, nothing is impossible! I praise God continually as I enjoy every day, every moment, and every experience I have! I am always amazed how he brings his kids together, to learn to love one another and help each other. It totally humbles me to be involved in this kind of work. For this is not about me, he wants each of us to remember who we are, to be the mystic, and to transform darkness into light.

The point is this: you don’t have to be struck by lightning or have a near-death experience to open up, change your life, appreciate each other, or to have a special connection with God. Love is the key to everything. Remember, the life-review you have will be about the love you showed or didn’t show. It’s all about love!

When I was before the Ultimate, I wished only to love and be responsible to him. But what he wanted was for me to be responsible and love everyone else. So, we prove our love by loving everybody else! And, it has opened me to surrender in faith to whatever God needs from me, and he has continued my enlightenment. Since July of 2005 I have been experiencing the Holy Stigmata, the five wounds of Christ. They open spontaneously about once a month and lasts for 3 to 9 days. Part of that experience comes with new visions and information for the important time of shift we are living in, which is then written down and shared. We have even been given prayers called “Divine Decrees” that are here to help the world participate in this transformation of our lives and global events with Angelic help. And the healings that are occurring since that connection are even more miraculous!

My brokenness has led me to a mending of the very highest kind, and everything in my life has changed, in alignment to fulfilling that purpose. I stood up for love and everything not of love shifted out of my life. To that end, after many years I am now re-married to a loving and spiritual partner, who hears God clearly for himself and follows through on the mission placed in his heart, besides supporting me in mine. I am blessed to have healed thousands of people and see miracle upon miracle. I have a wonderful support team who schedule healings for me with people from all around the world. Consistent with the expanding information I receive, I continue to write articles and books and hold healing conventions in many places. So even when I didn’t know what to ask for, in my most broken of times, The Big Guy gave me my life’s work. And I am happier that I have ever been before! Whatever periods of brokenness in my life I had to go through, whatever lessons I needed to learn to get to this place in my spiritual journey, I can release and be glad for it! Now, I am making a better “movie” for when I come before the presence again, and I’m sharing the gifts our Father freely gives us. I am thankful everyday that when I was stubborn and striking out, God stepped in and struck me down! Truly, the best thing that happened in my life was almost losing it. Being dead healed my life; and now it heals others. I’m glad to be back. END

Pornography and Masturbation: How Can it Hurt?
The Bigger Picture Behind the Moment of Orgasm

Does pornography really hurt anyone? If a person just views it in the privacy of their own home, how can it harm? Does it add to a relationship like some have said? What about masturbation? Especially if a person is single, isn’t it better to satisfy needs this way than going out on the town? Really, what’s the big deal?

The body is a blessing, not a curse – and it is made to receive information about our world and one another through its feelings, thoughts and senses. In fact, much of what we do in these bodies helps us recognize our gifts and purposes in life, and helps us connect with one another, with love and with God. And it is the body that contains the spirit, like electricity wired into a house. We are created by God in love, by love and for love. We all face the issues that come with having a body, namely the yearning and the longing we have to express intimacy and feel release. It is one of the three major balances in life – physical, emotional and spiritual health - which helps us stay connected to being human while actively accomplishing our purpose and pursuing spiritual things. All throughout history we see how if one of these balances is missing, major problems arise in a person’s life, often with disastrous consequences. Lack of maintaining balance habitually results in lack of discernment, a spinning out of control, and unhappiness.

We were blessed with the ability to recognize beauty in all its forms, and some say observing pornography is just as innocent as that. We recognize the glory of creation in nature; a majestic sunset, a purifying rain, a gentle breeze, a magnificent rainbow. But we are also built to recognize it in humans, and this is why people throughout history people have respected a beautiful body - seeing the ideal of how we were created to be, healthy and fit. Although modified versions of what is considered most beautiful may change slightly over the years, we have thousands of examples available to us in art, sports and in daily life. It is not the recognition of beautiful bodies that is a problem; it is something else much deeper that causes harm in pornography and masturbation.

There is a bigger picture behind what happens during orgasm than many people know. And this is the secret of why we crave it and want more of it. The moment of orgasm is not just a physical release of the body – it is an instant of intermingling and release of your spirit and the person’s spirit you are with (whether both achieve orgasm or not), and it connects you to the Spirit of God too. For a moment our spirit is at one, at peace, is fully accepted, complete, and unconditionally loved. Orgasm is a place where our spirit literally visits God. Why wouldn’t we want more of it? It is built into our DNA code for more than physically making babies – it literally is a place of receiving and giving love. It is touching the Divine place within us and within one another, and Divine Love himself.

And that is where one of the problems occur. We were not created to keep ourselves isolated from one another. Experiencing orgasm alone creates a two way connection between the person’s spirit and the Spirit of God, but misses out on the completeness it was made for in sharing with another human soul. So the more a person masturbates, the more it escalates a feeling of being separate, alone and empty, whether they are in a relationship or not. This can ripple out to more problems, and a turning inward and shutting down instead of facing challenges of attaining and maintaining healthy relationships and communication. When we feel cut off from others, feelings of unworthiness and depression readily surface and can affect all other places of our lives – our work performance, our parenting skills, etc.

Another reason why problems occur with pornography and masturbation is because it can generate feelings that damage the shield of free will. When we get holes in the shield we get attacked through them by demons, which desire to manipulate and destroy physical health, relationships and finances.  When free will is breached, it is like having a nagging voice constantly whispering negative things in our mind. For example: we will never have long-term loving relationships, never accomplish the dreams and goals in our heart, never have full physical health or abundance, that we will always have to watch for the next shoe to drop, etc. This creates a war in our hearts, because we know in our spirit that these things are not really how we want to feel or live our lives - we were created to have happy, healthy lives full of abundance in all good things. Keep in mind that this negative voice is not you; it is a trick, a lie. And you can shut it down, heal any injured or manipulated areas, and have peace and joy again by doing special Deliverance prayers; these help heal the holes and get off anything on you that is not of light and love.

The issue of humanity, sexuality and creation has been of interest since the beginning of time. One of the big differences between mankind and Angels is the ability to procreate. In fact, when a couple enters into making love, a bright bubble encapsulates them that makes a sacred space where none of the Angels or any other spirit beings can see. It truly is a time of connection between humans and God. It is also the reason for the constant barrage of over-emphasis on the body and lust in the media, magazines, television shows, movies, and emails to the point where what was once objectionable has now become commonplace and frequently overlooked. It is a brainwashing that we will only be loved if we are thin, rich and young forever. It is precisely this entrenchment in our everyday life that makes pornography even more dangerous because people fail to see the danger and leave themselves vulnerable to attack. We are asked to be on guard to pay attention and be aware that we not fall prey to manipulation. “Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.” (1Corinthians 16:13) We must be sharp in recognizing what is helpful and what is harmful. We are asked to have discernment and recognize the things that are of love and God, and what are not. It has nothing to do with what is popular or accepted by others or not. Poison is always harmful, no matter what form it may take.

Pornography is a manipulation of our natural desires, a perversion. This is far from what God had intended.  When a person willingly views pornography they have opened the door for manipulation of natural desires; it now becomes like a distorted version of an exquisite painting. Where once there was beauty, now all we see is brushes, canvas and paint – all we see is the fundamentals and basics, and we lose all perception of true art and vision that the painting’s creator wanted you to see. It is the same thing by taking the gift of making love and the beauty of the human body and debasing it to the point of centering only on torsos and genitalia.  It is a form of idolatry for it places more emphasis on the creation rather than the creator. It is a dangerous pitfall that begins with the violation of the gift from God and can end with the degradation of a person to such a point that a person viewing pornography no longer sees the person in the images as a person but rather they become an object. Whenever anyone is marginalized and separated, destruction soon follows. Pornography harms everyone it touches - those who make it, distribute it, show it and view it. Even children, the innocents, are used for profit.

Pornography also causes problems within relationships. It sets up perceptions of how a person should look or act to enjoy sex, and can create feelings of inadequacy or of “missing out” if they are not looking or feeling the same way.  Many have separated over issues dealing with pornography much to the delight of the unHoly Angels. Worse yet, many have sought to carry out disturbing actions they have seen by seeking out others with the objective of trying out degrading and detestable acts of perversion. This destroys what was created to be a sacred place for a couple.

The tendency for pornography and masturbation to become addictions becomes a further pitfall. Like any addiction more and more is needed to meet the level of desired satisfaction. What someone may think is only slightly wrong, something to be hidden from family or friends, grows into a larger problem as it implants more and more depraved images into the mind. People become used to the objectification of themselves and others and no longer see it as an evil but rather seek out additional and increasingly corrupt images and false interactions. The emptiness and injury that occurs to individuals, to couples and to relationships is profound and affect us at our very core. It is the shield of our free will that has been damaged and we have the ability to ask God for assistance in healing it. We can choose to see sex as part of the whole of relationships and not the only reason to come together. We can remind ourselves we are barraged by social and media influences that is targeted to manipulate how we view our bodies and those of others. We can choose to think for ourselves again, and make love how we and our mate choose to in the natural flow of being together.

God does not desire us to have so many struggles with sexuality or with our bodies. The body is a blessing, not a curse – and the instant of orgasm is meant to be a place of union between a man, a woman, and God.  It is a gift meant to be unwrapped and fully appreciated, it is not dirty or perverse, but just the opposite. Yet how each of us chooses to handle this gift is up to us. Will we treat it with respect and the treasure it is intended to be, gifting it tenderly to the one we love? Or will we dash it across the floor and wonder why we feel all alone? The choice is up to you, it really is a big deal.

How to Know What Kind and What to Do

You hear footsteps, tapping, your name or voices, doors or cupboards opening or closing. You feel a wave of coldness, that something just touched you, that you are being watched. You see a glowing mist, an odd light, a dark shadow, a face, an outline, something out of the corner of your eye. What is it? Is it just your imagination or is there something much more here? No, it is not your imagination. You are being visited. And you need to know by whom and what it means. You are not alone.

Ghosts, spirits and manipulated ghosts are all folks who have lived as people and have died – this makes them different from Angels or demons who have never been humans. Ghosts are the life-force of people who have not yet gone to God. Spirits are the life-force of people who have gone to God and now have access to come and go as they please between this world and the next. Manipulated ghosts are the life-force of people who have not yet gone to God so are in ghost form, and have come under attack and control of unHoly Angels or demons.

Big choices happen at the moment of death. When death is imminent, a Holy Angel appears before us, along with several loved ones who have already passed on. This occurs to help us know that the Angel we are seeing is not a hallucination, and that we really do exist beyond our physical bodies. All Angels have specific duties, and the one that comes to us at this time is often called the Angel of death, but is more aptly called a “homing” Angel, because he is there to take us home to God. The homing Angel is very gentle and loving and maternal, and desires us not to be afraid of letting go of our bodies. We are given a choice at that time to go to God right then, or to wait until after the funeral ceremony. All we have to do is touch the hand of the Angel and everything is OK.

It shows our free will desire to go to God, and to choose love over fear. The reason we are given a choice about going right then or waiting until after the funeral is because there is a 2-3 week debriefing time after we die. During this time we have a life review, we review the facets of love learned during this life, we go through a cleansing and full remembrance of who we really are, and make decisions with our guardian Angel and Jesus about future choices. During the debriefing time we do not visit earth. But after the debriefing we can come and go and visit our loved ones on earth freely, how long and how often depends on other choices we make about what we are doing.

When we are newly out of our bodies, it takes some getting used to – for example, we now see not just through our eyes, but all around us. The homing Angel helps us get used to our new spirit body and escorts us around using his energy. If we say we want to visit our daughter or mother, in a blink of an eye we find ourselves there, and utilizing a way of connection appropriate to the situation. This is why most visitations of our loved ones happen right after their death, because they desire to let us know they are OK and still exist. After their debriefing, their ability to come and go freely also means that we can trigger visitations by prayerfully asking for them. If we desire to use a touchstone such as holding an item or picture that was dear to them, we can, that is up to us, but not necessary. They hear us at the moment we talk to them, unless they are busy, then our calling out is stored to a place that is accessed by them at another time.

Our loved ones are indented or connected to us and they desire to help us overcome our grief and help us make healthy and loving decisions in our lives. With this gentle prodding they act similar to how Angels do, looking out for our best interests and directing us in love, since all their burdens and “could haves and should haves” have been released and forgiven. By knowing the true nature of God they also know themselves and each one of us, all in love. This is our life-force as a spirit.

Ghosts on the other hand, have not taken the hand of the homing Angel and have not chosen to go to God. Because free will does not end at death, sometimes people make an incorrect choice even after letting go of the body. Ever wonder about the last part of the Hail Mary prayer? “Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed are thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.” At the hour of our death is when we are most at risk for being attacked. This is why it is so necessary that people are surrounded by love, understanding and support at their time of death. This is a crucial time. Many have entered the ghost life simply because they are simply afraid to go to God, thinking they would not be forgiven for things they have done. There have been many versions of faulty teachings about God – but he is not like a prison warden, or a strict overbearing disciplinarian who would send anyone to a fiery hell of torment. None of this is true – he is the core of unconditional Divine Love, forgiveness and mercy. And torture and fear could never coexist with Love, it is the exact opposite.

In fact, in Biblical days there was a pagan ritual of sacrificing children to false gods by burning them to death in fire, and God shows his repugnance for that by saying: “The people of Judah have done evil in my eyes…they have built the high places of Topheth…to burn their sons and daughters in the fire – something I did not command, nor did it come up into my heart.” (Jeremiah 7:30, 31) It is not in the heart of a loving God to do such a thing. Hell is a separation from God, fiery hell does not exist. But separation does, and when a ghost doesn’t go to Father, he is in this place of purgatory, separation or hell. He is in-between and stuck between this world and the next.

Ghosts do not know any more or any less than when they were alive. If your aunt was mean when she was here on earth, she will still be mean as a ghost. If she was the salt of the earth and kind-hearted, that is how she will be as a ghost. So, you do not have to be afraid of them. They are people who have just shed their physical bodies. They have less real power over you now than they ever had. A death that was sudden may produce ghosts because a person can’t believe they are dead and they see the homing Angel as a hoax. If they can’t believe they are dead they may go on with the same chores and stresses during their day as if they were still alive. These are the some of the hardest to convince to go home. There are a few who will go on like this for thousands of years without improvement. Some will keep repeating over and over again the most emotional part (good or bad) of their lives or the last part of their lives. Sometimes a person may mistakenly believe they can’t go to God until loose ends are tied up – but no matter what is undone, going to God and being in spirit form will help much more, and give you more helpers with you besides.

There is never a good reason not to touch the hand of the Angel. However, in his mercy, even those in ghost form are not forgotten by God. Periodically a homing Angel will be sent to each ghost offering another chance. God has also gifted many people with the ability to sense, see or feel ghosts and will periodically send these to help ghosts go home too. If you are one of these, remember there is no need to help them with unfinished business, everything will have wonderful Angelic outcome when they go to God. There is only one goal, to go to Father, to go to the light. Everything else will be taken care of.  This is a test of faith, for them and for you. Briefly let them know their condition by asking a few questions: “do you remember waking up this morning? What did you eat? When did you get your last paycheck?” Then get to the point - let them know the true nature of God and how much Father loves us, how he sees us without all of our weaknesses, and that he sees only our Love, and not our imperfections which have all been forgiven by the karmic redemption of Christ, and that loved ones await them. It’s all about love.

Too many people with good intentions get tied up in thinking they are helping a ghost by extensively lingering with them and end up getting wound up in the high emotions of the ghost and get thrown off course from the main goal. Ghosts only need to do one thing, go to the light. That is it! All else will be answered for them after that.  All they have to do is touch the hand of the Angel. This is a prayer to assist them in going to the light: "Wake up o sleeper and rise from the dead and Christ will shine on you." (Ephesians 5:14) Repeating this 3 times will assist with bringing the homing Angel to them. Touching the hand of the Angel will immediately bring them to the embrace of Divine Love. That is it. It is that simple.

Ghosts are easier to see because they are of a lower vibration than spirits who have gone to God. Angels are of an extremely high vibration. They are much harder to see and have to make the intention to slow their vibration so that they may be visible. Ghosts attract things of extremely low vibration, such as demons (unHoly Angels). This is another explanation of why they must go - even if they feel they are helping their loved ones, they are not - it is very dangerous for them to hang out. Another reason is because they too can get manipulated by demons, just as we can. A full 60% of ghosts become manipulated by the unHoly Angels and turn into manipulated ghosts. Make sure that the grandmother talking to your child is a spirit and not a ghost, no matter how friendly she is.

Ghosts are humans who have died and not yet gone back to Father. Manipulated ghosts have been attacked and have fallen prey to the manipulations of the unHoly Angels and become convinced that they are demons too. The unHoly Angels twist the manipulated ghosts and use them against people like pawns, and this is why ghosts can become very destructive and evil, because they are tapping into this source. Remember these manipulated ghosts are at their core children of God, and they still have the chance to go back to Father, to learn more about love and have more opportunity to share in his love. Manipulated ghosts need more assistance to return back home to Father because they can no longer see themselves as once human, they see only the darkness and the manipulation fed to them. These are the ghosts that appear disfigured, distorted, a perversion of what they were. Anywhere there is a perversion of how something was intended to be, count on the fact that there is demonic influence present.  

Here is the prayer to assist a manipulated ghost: “Lord, I ask that any manipulated ones here in this perimeter be nailed, held fast and silenced. I ask that their Angel show them their true name. As the homing Angel departs they too are allowed to leave and I say to them, Wake up O’ Sleeper and rise from the dead and Christ will shine upon you. Wake up O’ Sleeper and rise from the dead and Christ will shine upon you. Wake up O’ Sleeper and rise from the dead and Christ will shine upon you. (Ephesians 5:14) Thank you Father that these may come home to you. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

This prayer is not a forcing back home but an awakening to who they are as children of God. When we hold them and silence them, they cannot cause as much or any damage. It is important to know the homing Angel will never force someone to go, but offers the way. The part of our prayer asking that “their Angel show them their true name” is referring to their Guardian Angel, the one that has been with them the whole time since before their birth. This Angel shows them their true name, not as we may know a name to be, like Henry or Steve but all that they truly are, including the aspects of love that they have polished over all their lifetimes. This awareness given to the manipulated ghosts of who they truly are as a child of God, frees them from the control of the unHoly Angels and allows for communication to start up again between them and their Guardian Angel. Even with this prayer, it is still up to the ghost, so adding our own blessing asking that they return to God is powerful as well. If a manipulated ghost chooses not to go to God and is still causing problems, we can go the next step and do an exorcism as if we were casting out a demon (read more in the article

When you come across a ghost or manipulated ghost treat them with love, respect, and kindness. They really are lost souls. They may be bitter, downright demonic in their behavior, or they may be just confused. It makes me upset that there are so many haunted houses in the United States today that actively encourage people to come visit them, and charge a lot of money to do so. Remember you can say the prayer whenever you like – you can do this without permission of the homeowner; it’s not like breaking a contract, such as with demons, where you need free will agreement of the renters or homeowners. It really is beautiful when the ghost “gets it” and moves on and upward; such a feeling of relief and joy can be felt! Sometimes a person who is sensitive will be able to see the heavens open and the ghost leave, and see the energy of the room charged with heavenly light. Sometimes a warmth can be felt, or the scent of a mild pleasant perfume.

No, it is not your imagination - a whole other world exists just beyond your eyes. You are not alone, none of us are, and that is a good thing. Why? Because love is greater than fear, and light is greater than darkness. We do not have to ever be afraid of ghosts, manipulated ghosts or unHoly Angels. Love reminds each of us of our power against the darkness as redeemed children of God. Through our free will desire of prayer we have help at any and all moments from Holy Angels, spirits of loved ones, guides, our Guardian Angel, and God himself. Knowing this, we can identify who is visiting us and what to do in every circumstance, while still choosing to be a reflection of love without fear to all.

Do You Need to be Baptized Again?
Or Even Once? What Does Baptism Do?

If you were baptized as an infant, do you need to get baptized again as an adult? If you are baptized in one religion and then change to another one, do you need to get re-baptized? What if you are not part of an organized religion but try to live a good life, do you need to get baptized? Does it matter what religion you get baptized in? What if you left God and now want to come back to him? Also, does it matter if you are baptized with a sprinkling of water or immersed? And is it OK if a person wants to get baptized more than once? In fact, does baptism matter at all if you feel close to God in your heart?

What really is baptism? Baptism is not about your destination after death. On the human side, it is a free will desire to accept, trust and follow God’s will for your life instead of your own. Free will is a very big deal to God, because he will not force anyone to take his advice, guidance, protection or to love him. Even when our decisions may lead to injury, he will not interfere but will continue to present opportunities for better choices. So on God’s side, baptism is an active response you have made to receive his invitation. What is this invitation? To have him as your loving parent, your spiritual teacher and leader, and that you desire his greater protection, guidance and direction in your life – all of which he is happy to give as he holds you yet closer. It is also recognition that you are turning away from the ways of the past and desire to walk a new, holy (clean) path – you are symbolically receiving a washing away of sins (imperfections), asking for forgiveness, and receiving it. It also shows your desire to step up for more responsibility, and gives God the opportunity to grant it and the additional gifts and Angelic help needed to fulfill it (1Corinthians 12:4-27). And in addition to all these things, baptism also shows respect for God’s son who broke the ancestral bondage upon all of mankind, beyond religion (see
“Why Jesus’ Life is Important Beyond Religion” at TiffanySnow.com).

The rite of marriage is the closest example we have to the baptismal union with Divine Love. In most places around the world marriage is taken seriously, and this step is recognized as building the strength of the relationship. There is an acceptance that the choices a person now makes in their life will affect both of them, that two people have now become one in unity. Often there is a custom of gifting or exchanging something between those promising their lives to one another. The ceremony itself may be inside or outside a building, and is usually held in front of other people who acknowledge the new relationship and wish the couple well. Unless those making this important commitment are already of age and thus under their own headship, consent must be given by the parent(s) or by law the marriage would be void, since they would still be under the headship or authority of the parents. Many of the same principles of marriage apply to baptism.

Baptism strengthens the relationship between you and God, which includes greater communication. This greater communication increases the clarity to hear him better and know the deeper things of the heart of Love. This gives you additional fortitude and strength in yourself as well, for your discernment sharpens on what is of Love and what is not, and helps you let go of anything that may taint your relationship. This may include letting go of any traditions that are based on fear, and bringing closer those things that are based on love. And just like building a relationship with a good marriage mate, the more time you choose to spend together, the more you communicate and know how each other think, so that your loved one’s likes and dislikes are still in your head even when you may not be actively talking with them. So it is with God, baptism helps you to know each other better at the heart level, since you have given your consent. This is one of the exchanges that God gives through baptism; it is his gift or ring of unity, having the peace of God that excels all thought (Philippians 4:7). With that peace, your heart and mind is guarded, and no matter what may occur your spirit will have an inner calm. There is a deep knowing that transcends all understanding, a confidence that you are never alone, you are loved, forgiven and accepted, and that without a doubt God will never, ever, leave you.

In our example of human marriage, we see that unless those making this commitment are already of age and thus under their own headship, consent must be given by the parent(s) or by law the marriage would be void, since they would still be under the headship or authority of the parents. Keep this in mind as we discuss some deeper aspects of baptism. When a child is under age (and that may differ from place to place by the laws of the land) that child is under the authority of the parents. This is a protection in many ways for the child, and places the parents in a place of lawful responsibility to provide at least the basics of food, clothing and shelter. But most parents desire to provide more than just the basics for their children, and want to love, guide, teach, play with and protect them as well. This may include the ceremony of baptism (containing a sprinkling of Holy water) which brings upon the child many additional safeguards that a perfect heavenly Father can give. But, the child is unaware and has no ability on his own to ask, receive or fulfill many of the additional aspects that baptism brings. A baby is not asking God to step up for greater responsibility, or to turn away from his previously sinful path. He is not aware, and does not have to be; for his parents have the headship over him, and the child falls under their authority, and God recognizes the parental right and grants the baptism and additional protection and blessings. Now, this brings up other questions about baptism.

So does a person have to be baptized again when they are an adult? It depends. Does an underage couple have to be married again when they are of legal age, does their marriage dissolve somehow unless they have the ceremony again? No, they do not have to get remarried. But the reason is this – they may have been young, but they were still old enough to make a decision on their own, and to voice their agreement, or else the one facilitating the service would not have completed it and the marriage would have been void, even if the parents had given their consent. But, if the couple had run away together without their parent’s agreement and gotten married, the marriage would be null and void if the parents later refused. This means that if a child is old enough to actively voice agreement to baptism and have a reasonable knowledge of what that means, and if one or both of their parent’s agree, the free will decision will stand even beyond reaching the age of consent and no additional baptism is necessary. God acknowledges the agreement of the child-turned-adult to receive further opportunities for greater responsibilities and blessings. In regard to the parents, both are free will agents of their own, and if there is disagreement or the location of one of the parents is unknown, either the woman or the man may make the agreement for baptism for the child. Whichever one agrees to the benefits of baptism would be granted the role of spiritual headship in this regard, while still seen as fulfilling the place of respect in relationship to the marriage mate. This is allowed because the ripple effect of the baptism is similar to a parent choosing to cover their child with a bullet-proof vest during a military or gang confrontation – it is the most loving thing to do, and above all, God is love (1 John 4:8).

However, if a child is still under the headship of his parents and gets baptized without consent of those responsible for his care, this baptism is void because it does not respect the principles of parental authority that God has instituted for the family. This still holds true no matter if the parents do not have a religion, or do not recognize or respect other faiths. It is a null baptism and not consecrated by God. This does not mean that the child is not loved, nor protected and guided, since prayer, grace and opportunities are available to all; and any desire of the child to grow in communication and connection with God and is encouraged and rewarded. Christ reflected and taught about God’s attributes while he was here on earth, and emphasized the specialness of the younger ones: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.” (Luke 18:16) Also, each one of us comes into life with an Angel that is our individual guardian, and fights for us. If we didn’t, every single one of us would have been killed by the fallen unHoly Angels in our infancy. We have many provisions in place because each of us is a child of God, a spark off his Divine flame; but when we get baptized, the provisions increase.

What about betrothal? Even today, some cultures still use this custom. Historically betrothal was a formal contract, officiated by a religious authority and usually done by the couple’s families with bride and groom having little or no input. It might last from infancy until the age of marriage, and sometimes is even called child marriage. Even within the strict traditions that follow this, most have a requirement that the bride be allowed to have at least veto power, and the parents may call it off too. How does this relate to baptism? When a child is baptized as a baby, they are basically betrothed to God and come under his additional special care. However, when the child is of legal age, they can choose to break the betrothal (baptism) by their own voiced expression of this to the one they are betrothed to, God. This means that even if a formal baptism, contract or officiating of a religious authority had occurred in their childhood, the adult may refuse to continue the deeper relationship with God, and the additional connection and blessings that came with the baptism will be removed.

So what about when a person is baptized as a baby without ability to voice their consent? As we have noted, they will be covered during their childhood. But, as an additional blessing of God’s grace, those who have been betrothed to God in this way without vetoing the decision later, are continued to be covered by the former parental free will of baptism. But, with the greater knowledge comes the greater responsibility – and the same reason why Jesus waited until he was legally a man to become baptized is now more deeply understood. Also, the method of baptism should be taken into account. It is by grace that God has allowed the sprinkling of Holy water for baptism (and continues to allow it for those whose health does not permit otherwise, or in places where immersion is not available), when full immersion is the example we were given by Christ himself, and the method that he taught all his followers to use. Again we see the patience of God upon mankind, and him meeting them wherever they are at – for those with a little knowledge, he approves it and fills in the gaps, and expects their follow-through in what little amount they may know. However, to those who have more knowledge, he approves it (and still fills in any gaps) and expects follow-through with the greater amount they know. It is like the parable of the ten talents – those who have more responsibility, more is expected of, and more blessings are added. Such is God’s grace about baptism (Matthew 25: 14-30). Like a grade-schooler, simply learning the basics is fine for that stage of life, but if we choose to ignore more complex matters as we mature, we may never be able to experience the bigger opportunities and joys that life has to offer, just like it is more fun to drive a car than to ride all our lives on a bicycle.

No matter when you were baptized – as a baby, or with free will choice when you were of age, you are not forced to remain in this special relationship with God. Remember he desires you to be close because of love, nothing more. And even in the time of you taking your hand out of his, he will never withdraw his – he will always be reaching out for you, hopeful that you will return, and he will reinstate your baptism. Even in this time of his sadness, his generosity continues, for God will not take back any additional special gifts he gave you, for he gave those freely and will not ask for them to be returned. But you will not be guided by God’s will anymore, since that is what you have asked for, you want to do your own thing, and will face the cause and effect of that without any head’s up about what is good for you or not. But, since you were in a companionship in using the gifts, the additional connection to fully utilize them and the Divine protection that would normally be in place to use them would be absent. For example, if you were given the gift of healing, you would still be able to heal, but the power source was rejected, so you would be using your own energy, which means you would not see any big miracles but you could start experiencing emotional and physical distress from depleting your own reserves. Or if you had the gift to hear the other side, your channel of hearing and recognizing what is of God and his Holy Angels and what is of manipulation and unHoly Angels may be much more difficult to discern. The additional layer of protection upon our bubble of free will that comes from baptism is now gone.

Please note that leaving a religion is not the same as leaving your baptism with God. The relationship God desires to make with each person is beyond that. No matter what your religion, faith, culture or background, if you recognize the core of God as the personification of Love, you will be able to hold all things up to that, and you will know what is of God or not. Religion is often used as a fence, whereas God prefers the freedom of open pastures. Houses of prayer and fellowship are wonderful – when they are focused on Love. God does not want us to follow one another; he desires each one of us to be the mystic, to be able to hear Love in our own hearts, to follow him. So be careful not to throw the baby out with the bathwater – do not throw God out because you are disappointed in those who say they represent him. Your spiritual peace of mind, fulfillment and joy of purpose is bigger than that. And if you join another house of prayer and fellowship, you do not need to get re-baptized, but you can if you want. Similar to a married couple wishing to retake their wedding vows, only one time is really needed, but taking the additional step to reconfirm the commitment shows the continuing desire to express and expand the love.

Now that you know all the details about baptism, what do you need to do? If you desire to get baptized, it can be done simply. It will require three things: one who is ordained (in rare instances when there is no priest to perform the ceremony, God allows a person to baptize themselves), the one who is to be baptized and a body of water (if possible). It can be as simple or elaborate as you wish. The vital step in the process is the acknowledgement of the one who wishes to be baptized. What baptism means should be clear, and is to be entered into with respect and joy, just like a marriage union. As for those witnessing the baptism, it can be as few as the one who is ordaining and the one who is receiving. The water is to be placed upon the individual desiring baptism: sprinkled, poured or by immersion (remember immersion is a more accurate reflection of what Christ taught his followers) and the words added “I now baptize you in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit” and the sign of the Cross + made over the person. The baptism is now complete. God’s love is simple, and his ways are straightforward and simple (1 Peter 3:21).

We know in our hearts what a good marriage should be, and that the wedding day is an important chapter in the expanding book of a happy life. Baptism is also the beginning of the deeper relationship you desire with God, and with more time and experiences shared together, the more profound and lovely the relationship will grow. Take the first opportunity you have to be baptized and experience the peace of God that excels all thought. Remember, with that peace, your heart and mind is guarded, and no matter what may occur your spirit will have an inner calm. There is a deep knowing that transcends all understanding, a confidence that you are never alone, you are loved, forgiven and accepted, and that without a doubt God will never, ever, leave you. Living Fully Spiritual in a Physical Body
It’s Not About Balance – It’s About Integration

Trying to maintain spiritual balance doesn’t work in a physical world, and it is not meant to. Balance often implies a precarious position, such as a need to shift from one leg to another to achieve walking, or a “hanging in the balance” of things. Balance implies the need to control choices, such as when and how much to eat and sleep. All physical bodies, whether they are the human body or luminaries in space, operate within physical laws which include many laws of balance. Balance is important and necessary for our physical bodies. But spirit is not physical, and is not limited to physical rules. And this is why when we try to apply laws of balance to our spiritual nature, it simply does not work.

The human body has basically two parts; body and spirit, and literally the two of them together makes a living soul. The spirit is the life-force gifted to us by God, and the body is the physical domain in which it resides. We are fully both. And just as there are many parts and layers to the physical body, such as the outer skin, the muscles and fat, internal organs, bone and blood – there are also layers to the spiritual one, which might be likened to vibrational qualities or densities. The majority of the spirit has a medium density and basically looks like a golf-tee in the body, flowing down the spine with most of it in the head area. There is also a very tiny dense spot located in the upper-middle of the head that is the central core of our spirit, it is the main connection to remembering who God is and fully knows who we are too. This core essence of spirit is unshakable and contains all the facets of love we have already learned and also those we are currently polishing, and contains our full personality beyond exterior labels or interference. There is yet another layer extends through all this, and overflows the physical limitations of the body. This one is of lighter density, and usually dissipates the further it extends out. This is the one seen by some people to be an aura of colors around the body. It is also the part that influences much of our emotional perceptions of the immediate world around us, such as feeling comfortable or uncomfortable around a person, place or thing.

There are conscious choices we make with our physical body, such as using our hand to turn a doorknob. There are also automatic workings in our body that happen on their own without us giving much thought to them, such as cell division, digestion, etc. This does not mean it is impossible to influence the automatic system. It is very achievable through mental determination to slow our hearts, lower our blood pressure or even stop our lungs from breathing for long periods of time. Sometimes people have made these choices consciously because they want to achieve something. However, sometimes when people do not want to live anymore, or feel overwhelmed, they will wall themselves off by making firm mental choices, often unconsciously, that the body obeys. This can include stopping the heart from beating, eyes from seeing, ears hearing, or even signaling the body to stop repairing itself.

Just as we can mentally influence unhealthy choices in our physical body, so we can with the automatic workings of our spirit. Think of our spirit as similar to a dolphin’s sonar. Since our spirit includes receiving impressions and feelings from the area around us, if we have mentally determined not to feel those perceptions (perhaps because fear or a past hurt), we can lose much of what makes us aware and healthy humans. What would happen to a dolphin if they lost their sonar ability? They would have a very difficult life functioning in their world. The same happens for us. How do we influence our spirit negatively? For one, if we are constantly telling ourselves that ‘relationships bring only bring pain and I will end up spending my life alone,’ our mental state affects our subconscious spiritual mechanism and instead of receiving the vast array of information around us, we close in tightly around ourselves. This will correspond to feeling very much alone and isolated, even if we are in the midst of a crowd of people. And since the outer layer of our spirit normally connects and intersects with everything around us, we lose out on a myriad of intuitive impressions if we shut it down. These might be as simple as which fruit is perfectly ripe, or as important as something wrong with the car, or proximity of a potential marriage partner. Remember that making a wall around oneself does not protect us from pain, but rather it makes a prison, one that we have built with our own hands. We must be consciously aware of what we think; we must be aware of how we are thinking deep within.

Our innermost thoughts are central to our free will choices and it is important to be mindful of what is repeating itself in our head (such as the negative concept “I don’t deserve to be healed; happy; loved; etc.”) and choosing to think differently. Free will is crucial to how we make choices on our life path, and our body is strongly influenced by it, and God works with it too. This is also why if are praying for someone to get well and their spirit has made a decision to let the body die, we need to be OK with that - even if they have verbally told us something else. As we have noted, sometimes we give unconscious signals to our bodies that they obey, so a better choice is to spend time in meditation (time with ourselves) and prayer (time with God) to dig deeper and to know what choices we are really making. Integrating our core spiritual desires and our conscious choices together makes a powerful package. This is the true meaning of working with our prayers, and will accomplish much more than being divided within ourselves with saying one thing and feeling another. 

We have control over much of what goes into our minds and hearts, thereby affecting our spirit. Our choices of entertainment at the theater, internet or on the television; what kind of literature we read; and what we choose to speak of will give us a good indication of what is in our heart, for “out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks.” (Matthew 12:34, NIV) For example, do we search out the TV shows that highlight the good that mankind is accomplishing and the beauty of the earth, or do we watch cheating and murder shows? Do we gossip and pass along information that is not encouraging? I know if I do not feed my spirit regularly, I may begin faulty thinking and it may affect my confidence that God could utilize a person like me, or any of humanity at all, thereby setting myself up for loss of hope and lack of faith. That kind of thinking makes our spirit very weak and makes is more difficult to embrace the gifts and blessings that Divine Love gives us. The apostle Paul was led to write: “Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” (Philippians 4:4-9, NIV)

So what are some ways that we can strengthen and expand our conscious spiritual awareness?

(1). Recognize that part of our spirit is always in connection with God and hears him, knows him intimately, and that we are fully forgiven, fully accepted, and fully loved beyond what we could imagine or experience on earth. Done deal!

(2). Because we live largely in a fast-paced, result-oriented “show me” world, we often make the mistake of only counting as important or necessary the things that we can see, monitor or finish. In other words, we count only the physical aspects of our life – what we look like, what we weigh, what we have created, what we have earned, what we own. So recognize that unless you were divinely given a tangible gift that can be measured (such as miracles, healing, medical intuition, resurrection, finding missing persons, etc) the work of the spirit may be invisible, and you need to be OK with that. Having a gift that can be measured does not make any of the other gifts less important; in fact I personally think it takes more faith to know you are making a difference without seeing the results. For example, everyone is given the gift of prayer - and prayer does change things - yet we may never have tangible proof that our prayers helped lessen a severe storm and turn it from a town, or aid a rescue worker hear an Angelic voice guide them to dig in a certain location. We all have gifts, and all of them take confidence and faith. “Faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen; it gives us assurance about things we cannot see.” (Hebrews 11:1 NLT) And the greater the amount of faith we have, the more we can be utilized to use it.

(3). The spirit is always hungry and always needs to be fed. Putting aside time for meditation, prayer, saying the Divine Decrees, study of the scriptures and spiritual fellowship are all needed, and to be admirably congratulated. But, these intervals of time for the spiritual nature are not enough. More is needed! Never is the spirit comfortable or at ease living on spaced out meals, and it is not meant to. It is a constant eater! We have already seen that our spirit and body are intertwined to multi-task in this life together – both are fully here for us at the same time, and both possess unconscious automatic features and thought-activated ones. As such they are made to be utilized together at the same time as well. We do not have to live under the presumption that “this time is set aside for spiritual, this other time is set aside for physical.” Please notice that time is NOT an issue in integrating a fully spiritual life into your physical one, because there are no recuperation times needed for your spirit, there are no limits on spirit at all, only the physical body has limits, balance, and timing issues. This means that you are completely free to be fully spiritual at the same time as being a physical, human being.

This may sound like a simple concept, but it takes some initial effort to put it into practice. But once we have trained ourselves it becomes the second nature it was supposed to be. In our imperfect world we see so much dualism, the “this or that” of black or white, hot or cold, asleep or awake - that we have often categorized into seeing everything that way. I myself struggled for years to find “balance,” between body with spirit, and because balance does not work, in my desire to constantly feed the spirit my physical body has often been neglected. It has been interesting to note that most healers I have seen, and those who focus on spirit, also have neglected bodies. And along the way, most of us haven’t really cared because the body has not been our focus. As for me, I had often seen my body only as a constriction to be put up with until I could be free with Father again. However, learning to be fully integrated in the body while continuing my spiritual nature adds power to make greater transformations around me – God does not need to wait on as much recuperation of the body when it is in shape. It is like having a care that is taken care of, tuned up and a full gas tank ready to go where Father says to go.

How do we integrate feeding our spirit full time while living in a physical body? Only one thing - learn to live with one ear to the heavens, and one ear to the earth. We were created to multitask in our hearing, we always hear a multitude of sounds at the same time. Yet, we can choose to be aware, and pinpoint clearly one distinct conversation out of a crowd, such as our dog barking out of all the others in the neighborhood, or our own quiet thoughts in the middle of a loud business meeting. In the same way, we can choose to hear the Spirit of God, the whisper constantly compelling our own spirit, and in our awareness of it make better conscious choices. If each of us did nothing else but this, our spirit would never have an instant of starvation again. This is the fully integrated life, living our lives in an undertone of prayer, tapping into the God-spot of our spirit full alive in Divine Love.

God speaks to us in whispers in our mind and in our heart and in our spirit, and we can consciously choose to turn up the volume on that one voice while still listening to everything else around us and live even more successfully in our physical world. Until that comes automatically to you, why not set up a trigger every morning to remember to pray to ask God to recognize his voice and hear him more clearly than anything else? This is about conversing with God in our mind, and listening for replies. Each one of us already talks to ourselves non-stop inside our brains – just ask God to join in, and take the lead. We are spiritual beings currently living a physical existence. To help us to remember our integrated nature we can use physical triggers to remind us, and these can take many forms. Placing these triggers around our homes, workplaces and automobiles can help us remember who we are until it becomes second nature. Any of our five physical senses – touch, sight, sound, taste, and scent – can help activate our sixth sense of conscious spiritual awareness. What inspires or reminds one person of spirit may not remind another of the same thing, not all triggers are universal. Choosing what your reminders are is a very personal thing. For example, while putting up photographs of a sunset on a Hawaiian beach may soar the heart in one person, for another it may represent a memory of faded love. Remember that these spiritual triggers are there to remind you to listen and converse with Divine Spirit while doing physical things.

Here are some ideas that may help you choose your spiritual triggers:

(a).What colors make you happy to look at? Yellow? Purple? The rainbow? Splash these colors around everywhere - wall coverings, curtains, tablecloths, bedding, carpet, rugs, shower curtains, and also with the clothes you wear. Bring colorful silk flower arrangements in your favorite colors.
(b). Are you inspired by creation? Bring unique rocks, wood or shells into your home. Paint a ceiling to look like the heavens with its shining stars and constellations. Hang photographs or paintings of scenic views of National Parks or animals in their natural habitat. Remember to place these where you work and do your activities - near the sink while you do dishes, above your computer.
(c). Play recordings of rain and thunder as you shower, bird songs as you make breakfast, a babbling brook as you drive to the office, crickets or waterfall sounds as you get ready for sleep. Instrumental music that lifts your spirit and inspires, favorite hymns or songs of praise sung by a favorite artist.
(d). Divine objects of affection. Do you have a crucifix on your wall and above your bed? Favorite scripture quotes on your refrigerator or above your front door? A Bible in various places (including the bathroom for quick reading)? Paintings or replicas of Jesus, Mother Mary, Angels or the Saints? These objects can also add a blessing to your home and help remind you of Divine forgiveness, perseverance and love.
(e). Incense or smells can be an instant trigger of emotions. Who doesn’t like the smell of a fresh Christmas pine or a batch of cookies? There are many scents available by lighting a candle, using automatic air fresheners or putting on perfumes and colognes. Fresh flowers on the table are always a treat.
(f). Display photographs of your best life memories – holding a your newborn baby, a wedding picture, a graduation day, a fish caught with grandpa. Make sure to choose only photos that inspire without any accompanying sadness.

Living in an environment that triggers you to ask “am I listening,” will help you create a pattern that you will keep no matter where you go or what atmosphere you are in. Does it work? Yes. Does looking at a weight scale or an exercise device remind you of what you want to do with your health? Yes it does. The benefits we receive when we exercise our spirit is a life without limits, even while living in a physical body. We become aware of our full connection with God and learn to hear and converse with him constantly, in an undertone of prayer. We also learn to bring to our conscious awareness any mental or spiritual decisions and make better, divinely guided choices. We also gain the peace of God that excels all thought, and learn that while there is balance needed for the body, there are no recuperation times needed for our spirit, for there are no limits on spirit at all. We are completely free!

What Does God Say? The Truth About Tithing
Is It Always About Money?

Most of us are aware of the passage from Acts 20:35 where Paul is quoting Jesus as saying ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ We know from experience that we feel satisfaction and joy when we give, and most of us would like to give more than we have been able to. But are we under scriptural obligation to give a certain amount, and is it always about money? Really, what is the truth about tithing, and what does God say about giving in general?

Some church authorities teach that tithing is required by God and to be given only to the church. Some say that additional monies can be given to other worthy causes but is not part of your tithe. Other churches say whatever you can give is good enough for God. Some say you should only give to churches or Christian organizations. Some say they do not have to give of their money, but of their time and that’s enough. Others say you do not honor God unless what you give is a sacrifice. But what does God really say? How do we give to God and are Christians obliged to tithe today?

By tradition, a tithe is considered 10% of a person’s income. Most people point to the origin of the tithe as beginning with the Israelites in the Old Testament with the priestly sons of Aaron and the Levities who helped them. They were divinely gifted a tithe of all the Israelite’s agricultural offerings to God. This was so they would be able to keep living and yet fulfill their responsibilities for taking care of God-appointed tasks (Numbers 18:1-32). The Israelites were a pastoral people and the twelve tribes were to inherit land from God, but the Lord said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelites.” (vs.20) God also stated the Levites would have no inheritance in the land, but would receive the tithe in return for the work they did. (vs. 21,31) Of that tithe the Levites received they were also required to give 10% - a tithe of a tithe. (vs.26)

These were Divine obligations of law that the entire nation, the “descendants of Jacob,” were to obey. There were direct cause-and-effect upon the Israelite people for meeting the requirements of tithing. If they did not provide for the Levities in charge of the Tent of Meeting and the high priests, “the word of the Lord to Israel through Malachi” said that not giving tithes and offerings were the same as robbing God. However, if they did meet the requirements, all the land would see good benefits. “Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.” (Malachi 1-4) All these things were directed specifically to the Israelites, the descendants of Jacob under the Law of Moses.

However, we are not under the Mosaic Law any longer. We are under a new covenant of grace, through the priesthood of Christ. Hebrews 7:11-8:2 says in part “Now the law (italics mine) requires the descendants of Levi who become priests to collect a tenth from the people – that is, their brothers – even though their brothers are descended from Abraham.” (vs.5) “If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come – one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron?” (vs. 11) “For it is clear that our Lord descended from Judah, and in regard to that tribe Moses said nothing about priests.” (vs.14) “For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been made perfect forever. The point of what we are saying is this: “We do have such a high priest, who sat down at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in heaven, and who serves in the sanctuary, the true tabernacle set up by the Lord, not by man.” (vs.8:1,2) Christ fulfilled the laws of the old covenant, “For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance – now that he has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant.” (Hebrews 9:15)

But are there any examples of tithing that predate the old law? Yes, earlier in the Old Testament, before the Mosaic Law came into being, we also see a tithe being offered, this time by Abraham to Melchizedek. “Then Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine. He was priest of God Most High, and he blessed Abram, saying, “Blessed be Abram by God Most High, Creator of heaven and earth. And blessed be God Most High, who delivered your enemies into your hand.” Then Abram gave him a tenth of everything.” (Genesis 14:18-20) So are we required to follow that? Melchizedek was not only a priest, but also a king, and a tenth was considered a king’s share. It was not uncommon in early non-Israelite cities for kingly and priestly duties to be performed by the same person. Later, Samuel solemnly warned Israel when they asked him to “appoint a king to lead us, such as all the other nations have,” that among other things, the king “…will take a tenth of your grain and of your vintage and give it to his officials and attendants.” (1 Samuel 8:11-22)

Abraham had many kings come out to visit him, but we do not see him offering ten percent to any other one, so we see that he did not consider it a mandatory response for a royal visit. Nor did he see the gift as a requirement of living on Melchizedek’s land or under his authority in some way. However, he gave nonetheless. Abraham’s response to Melchizedek showed he identified with him as being a priest that served the Lord he himself knew, and his gifting was a joyful act directed to God, not made out of compulsion or a written law. Melchizedek is later spoken of as prefiguring the heavenly king Jesus Christ whose priesthood was not in the order of Aaron but “in the order of Melchizedek.” (Psalms 110:4)

While Jesus was on earth we see him accusing the teachers of the Mosaic Law and Pharisees of hypocrisy in their tithing because they were not practicing what they preached. Outwardly they were only minutely obeying what was required: “You give a tenth of your spices…but you have neglected the more important matter of the law – justice, mercy and faithfulness.” (Matthew 23:23). In fact, knowing that he would soon be fulfilling the old law, Jesus summed up the deeper meaning of what God had been teaching through the Law by pointing towards the bigger picture of love. “One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?” “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:28-31) Paul repeated this in Romans as well: “The commandments, “Do not commit adultery,” “Do not murder,” “Do not steal,” “Do not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this one rule: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no harm to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.” (Roman 13:9-10)

Christ also showed that giving to God is not always about giving money. Remember that even in the beginning, the original form of tithing was the sharing of one’s goods, such as agriculture and farm animals. Jesus underscored that with the Pharisees when they asked: “Tell us then, what is your opinion? Is it right to pay taxes to Caesar or not?” Jesus then asked to be shown the coin used for paying the tax, and he asked them, “Whose portrait is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied. Then he said to them, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” When they heard this, they were amazed. So they left him and went away.”(Matthew 22:15-22) One of the lessons Jesus was teaching was that mere coin was not what pleased God, but that there were other ways Father could be gifted. Something even as small as giving a cup of water to one in need, gives to God. (Matthew 10:42) And when a costly jar of perfume was poured on Jesus’ head instead of it being sold to the poor, he said it was “a beautiful thing to me.” (Matthew 26: 6-13)

Giving was not always about money, but in gifting what the person had that could benefit others, including sharing Divine supernatural gifts given by the Holy Spirit. “There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men. Now to each one the manifestation of the Spirit is given for the common good. To one there is given through the Spirit the message of wisdom, to another the message of knowledge by means of the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healing by that one Spirit, to another miraculous powers, to another prophecy, to another distinguishing between spirits, to another speaking in different kinds of tongues, and to still another the interpretation of tongues. All these are the work of one and the same Spirit, and he gives them to each one, just as he determines.” (1 Corinthians 12:4-11) Eagerly sharing was exemplified by Christ’s apostles who were a role model for all who received Divine gifts, such as healing a begging man who was crippled from birth. “Peter said, “Silver or gold I do not have, but what I have I give you. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, walk.” (Acts 3:1-10)

What are we to give to those in the ministry work? In the New Testament we see the first Christians making freewill offerings without a specific amount required, and giving freely without written law and without compulsion, to aid distressed Christians in Jerusalem. Paul talked about this in 1 Corinthians 16:1: “Now about the collection for God’s people: Do what I told the Galatian churches to do. On the first day of every week, each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with his income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.” Besides material gifting, we also see the awareness of giving time to those who wanted to teach more about Christ so the word of God may spread. “In those days when the number of disciples was increasing, the Grecian Jews among them complained against the Hebraic Jews because their widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food. So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, “It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables. Brothers, choose seven men from among you who are known to be full of the Spirit and wisdom. We will turn this responsibility over to them and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word.” This proposal pleased the whole group…So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.” (Acts 6:1-7, NIV) “Give double honor to spiritual leaders who handle their duties well. This is especially true if they work hard at teaching the word of God. After all, Scripture says, "Never muzzle an ox when it is threshing grain,” and “The worker deserves his pay.” (1Timothy 5:17, 18 GWT)

Indeed, Father Billy and I would not be able to write these articles or survive in the healing and deliverance ministries if it were not for the tenderness and compassion that continues to motivate hearts to gift us with food, money and places to live. And we personally see this blessing as an obligation to lead simple lives with simple needs, so not to put undue pressure upon anyone. “For God's gifts and his call are irrevocable.” (Romans 11:29) Even so, this is personally what both of us were called to do, and it is not required by all people of faith, we each have different purposes in the Divine love of God.

For those called to lead a simple life, God has often relied upon the response of people to his Spirit moving upon them to provide for the needs of his ministers. “When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. He told them: “Take nothing for the journey – no staff, no bag, no bread, no money, no extra tunic. Whatever house you enter, stay there until you leave that town. If people do not welcome you, shake the dust off your feet when you leave their town, as a testimony against them.” So they set out and went from village to village, preaching the gospel and healing people everywhere.” (Luke 9:1-6) “Then Jesus asked them, “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?” “Nothing,” they answered.” (Luke 22:35) “Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. Life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? Since you cannot do this very little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Consider how the lilies grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you, not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today, and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith! And do not set your heart on what you will eat or drink; do not worry about it. For the pagan world runs after all such things, and your Father knows that you need them. But seek his kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” (Luke 12:22-31)

Is giving only honorable to God if it is a sacrifice to do it, if it is almost more than affordable? Some point to this scripture as proof of that. “Jesus sat down opposite the place where the offerings were put and watched the crowd putting their money into the temple treasury. Many rich people threw in large amounts. But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a fraction of a penny. Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “I tell you the truth, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything – all she had to live on.” (Mark 12:41-44) Jesus was teaching many lessons with this – including that God does not look not at the amount given, but the faith shown. This falls in accord with the lessons given in many other scriptures. For example, Paul was encouraged by the rich generosity of the Macedonian churches who helped the Christians in Jerusalem, and shared with the Corinthian church what they had done: “And now, brothers, we want you to know about the grace that God has given the Macedonian churches. Out of the most severe trial, their overflowing joy and their extreme poverty welled up in rich generosity. For I testify that they gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability. Entirely on their own, they urgently pleaded with us for the privilege of sharing in this service to the saints.” (2 Corinthians 8:1-4) Yet Paul did not ask for the same amount of donation that the Macedonian churches gave, but encouraged the same spirit of earnestness and love in what the Corinthians offered. For they had previously started to gather a donation for those in Jerusalem, but had not brought it to completion. “Now finish the work, so that your eager willingness to do it may be matched by your completion of it, according to your means. For if the willingness is there, the gift is acceptable according to what one has, not according to what he does not have (italics mine). Our desire is not that others might be relieved while you are hard pressed, but that there might be equality.” (2 Corinthians 8:7-13)

We are not asked to be in debt so that others may be out of debt, or to starve so that others may eat. God does not require this for our gifts to be honorable to him, but to be aware of treating others how we wish to be treated. “…in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you.” (Matthew 7:12, Luke 6:31) We are always to choose love over fear, and not worry about storing up amounts of items for ourselves (Mark 12:13-21), and conversely, not to sow in a way that puts us in a place of lack and need. It is about awareness of equality, and giving to others as they have the need, and receiving from others as we ourselves have the need, and to do neither without guilt, but with a cheerful heart. “Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:6-8) Even with the daily gathering of the manna in the desert during the Israelites forty years of wandering, “He who gathered much did not have too much, and he who gathered little did not have too little.” (Exodus 16:17,18; 2 Corinthians 8:15) There was an equal distribution made so that the young and strong who might have collected more could share with the aged and weak. The extra of some was a ministry of blessing for the deficiency of others, yet both were expected to work to the full ability they were able, which is each one’s “full measure.” This is the true meaning of: “For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” (Luke 6:38) We are to do our utmost in what we put our hand to do, and this only has to do with only our own personal ability, not in regard to competition with what others may do or give.

Many churches today strongly imply a “prosperity-theology” that if sacrificial gifting is made, or tithing given whether a person is able to or not, that this ensures that God will make sure to not only give back the amount that was given, but to greatly increase it. These churches may even promote letters or testimonies of members who received a raise at work, an unexpected check in the mail, or other financial wind-fall. Some of these churches go so far as to teach that God blesses those who tithe and curses those who don’t. But what about those who don’t receive the boon they were expecting? This can lead to many problems that can damage faith, including thinking they are not good enough to be heard by God, or promoting suspicion between mates about undisclosed sinful practices. Outsiders are often quick to  blame a lack of faith or a variety of moral failures. But is this correct? While we all know it feels good to give, whether through money, materials or time, we also know deep in our hearts that it is not about how good we are, but about how good God is. If we believe a prosperity-theology, we set ourselves up for attack by the unHoly fallen Angels. We become a prime target for expecting only good to happen to us in an evil world. We are not Christians because it makes our life easier – we are Christians because we love God and desire him. This was one of the original issues that Satan brought up about Job and all of mankind, that we only come to God out of what we can get from him. (Job 1:1-12) However, when we love God we do not treat him like a celestial Santa Claus that we expect gifts from for being good throughout the year. The serenity and peace that comes from doing God’s will and helping one another is a spiritual reward in itself, and one that God blesses how he sees fit, which may not be the same way we think it ought to be. It is not always about material things. We must not think that we can bribe God by giving. Our personal relationship with our heavenly Father is based on so much more than this.

Are we to give only to Christian organizations? No. Reflecting the love of Christ is about caring and sharing with all others, and this includes gifting the environment as well. Be led by prayer and compassion and you will gift as Spirit leads. “God has given us life and breath, to all who recognize him, and equally to those who don’t. As Jesus said, “He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” (Matthew 5:45) “But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. If you love those who love you, what reward will you get? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers, what are you doing more than others? Do not even pagans do that?” (Matthew 5:44-47) “Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.” (James 1:27) “Cornelius stared at him in fear. “What is it, Lord?” he asked. The angel answered, “Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God.” (Acts 10:4 – note that it does not say “Christian poor”)  “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’ “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’ “The King will reply, ‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’ (excerpts from Matthew 25:34-40)

What about use of a person’s time instead of a given monetary value? Simply put, it is always about offering our best to God. Father blesses all acts of charity, whether it is time or money or other gifts, he knows what the heart of the person is and what their ability is measured out to be. “Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.” (1 Timothy 6:17-19 italics mine) Note that even the rich were encouraged to do more than be generous, but to “do good,” and “be rich in good deeds.” For most of us, giving our full measure means that we are capable of doing more than writing a check, we can also physically give of our time. In any community there are a variety of wonderful ways to volunteer, and each time we do so we put Christ’s love into action in our own corner of the world, and the light and love of God expands.

Even with giving of our time, there is need for prayer and discernment, and letting God’s Spirit lead us to where and what is the most needed at the time. This means that if we are healthy and have some currency, we may be led to give of both in a week, or one or the other – let it be up to God to decide. Gone are the days when people could take care of their needs by what they traded or made. There are electric bills, water bills, transportation costs, and many other needs that can only be taken care of by monetary contributions. So while we may be tempted to think that donating a few hours at a soup kitchen is all we need to do, remember again that God knows the heart of the person and what each of us is capable of. And never are we to compare ourselves to what someone else is doing, or be tempted to give only for an end result of attention or honor by men. “So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full.” (Matthew 6:2) It is always about being honest with God and offering the best reflection of Christ’s love that we can, whether it is in word, or deed, or currency.

We are given a good example of the need for honesty in our giving by an example of the early Christians in Acts. “All the believers were together and had everything in common. Selling their possessions and goods, they gave to anyone as he had need.” (Acts 2:44,45) “All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of his possessions was his own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and much grace was upon them all. There were no needy persons among them. For from time to time those who owned lands or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone as he had need.” (Acts 4:32-35)  Yet a man named Ananias together with his wife Sapphira sold a piece of property and donated only a part of the selling price to the church although they claimed to have given the whole amount. It was not about the amount of money - they could have held back whatever they chose. But they were dishonest with God with what they gave. Led by the Spirit of God, Peter confronted them about their dishonesty, and immediately they “fell down and died.” (Acts 5:1-11) God is not one to be mocked, he sees our hearts and knows the good we are capable of, and expects Christ-like behavior from us and for us to respect and love one another.

True generosity is one of the marks of being a follower of Christ, and when led by prayer, is a very real way our hands become God’s hands to bless the world through Divine love. All we have received and have is because of God’s generosity and love in the first place – he is only asking us to share with one another what we were already given. Know that whatever way you are led to give, God smiles upon your generosity and you will receive his blessing, whether you are readily aware of it or not. And this expression of love is by giving of our time, goods or currency by a cheerful heart, and not out of compulsion or even monitored by a specific percentage of your income – it must be motivated by love. “If I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing….And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” (1 Corinthians 13:1-13) So why are we asked to give this offering of love? “We love because he first loved us.” (1 John 4:19)

Identifying a Haunting – a Checklist and Solutions

Are you, a loved one, or your home being haunted? What kind of invisible presences cause a haunting? What are the identifying signs of a haunting? And most importantly, how can you end it? While there are many TV shows and local ghost hunting groups around the country today, most of these only identify activity in an area and few know how to make unwanted activity cease. Since there are many things to consider when cleansing an area once a haunting is discovered, this information gives an identifying checklist and also acts as a core article linking to several related articles detailing solutions.

When looking into whether you are being haunted there are several factors to consider. Most notably, what is exactly causing the problem? There are three main manipulations that can occur to try to intimidate or cause fear. These can be angry ghosts, manipulated ghosts (ghosts given power by the unHoly Angels), or in more severe cases, the unHoly Angels themselves (demons).

There are many people who have skill in identifying a haunting problem but far fewer who can solve the problem. Even those who have the gift of seeing, hearing or feeling the other side can be fooled into thinking it is only a small problem when in essence there is much greater danger. And while this is not about religion, very often it is necessary to have a faithful Holy person experienced in spiritual warfare in the forefront doing the necessary prayers. Basically when a man or woman steps up for the deeper work and becomes ordained, it gives a different arrangement with the Holy Angels and they get more heavy-hitters helping them. This is because it is only through the power of Jesus Christ that a true cleansing and healing of the area can take place. All the unHoly Angels were once on the side of God and Christ, but through time many have fallen away by willful disobedience. Now they are now looking to cause as much fear and destruction as possible, harming people, the environment and even attempting to hurt God by harming that which He created and loves. So no matter what religion a person may or may not be, the demons know the power of Christ and who he is, and it must be by this name that the deeper work be successfully accomplished.

While there are many prayers that any of us can do since we are all children of God, here are some examples of work that should only be addressed by an ordained person: most deliverances, all exorcisms, manipulated ghosts and demons, closing portals and removing curses; and many different kinds of blessings, such as land blessings and making sacred ground. Please keep this in mind when going through the checklist below, and do not hesitate to ask for help when all signs point to something more than a simple ghost, energy dusting or house blessing.

Those who have the gifts of intuitive or psychic ability may be able to sense an entity, but it is much more important to have clear discernment of what the presence actually is! There are many presences that do not haunt that we may sense as well. Without a doubt, a Holy Angel is a definite presence that you will positively recognize when one is near – the power, comfort and love is undeniable. A spirit is a person who has gone to God’s love after death and now has free ability to visit as they please. And although our physical body may experience a healthy spirit presence in ways similar to other beings (cold spots, hair standing on end, heightened awareness) there is not an extreme level of fear, since your soul is inwardly aware of the helpful and loving nature. An energy dusting is not a presence at all, but a layering of high energies that has enveloped the area over a period of time. Similar to entering a room just after a heated disagreement, a sensitive person might sense many layers of what had occurred there, but it has nothing to do with a current presence.

But for hauntings, it again comes down to just three basic groups of three beings - a ghost, a manipulated ghost (ghost given power by the unHoly Angels) or the unHoly Angels themselves. It is easy for an unHoly Angel to deceive a person by pretending to be something they are not – including being an innocent child that died, or a harmless ghost that “got stuck.”  This is where discernment becomes imperative! The unHoly Angels can cause much more damage and create many more problems if they can masquerade and pretend to be something other than the evil influence they truly are. It is not enough to sense that there is a problem, it is essential to have correctly identified what it is that is causing all the trouble and to cleanse the area of it. It is not automatically fixed just by saying “go to the light,” as so many have found out, even with simple ghost hauntings. For those who see, hear or feel the presence one way that always works is to ask the entity:  “Do you love Jesus now?” There is only one correct answer for this - yes. If there is any other answer or even a non-answer or a vague, indirect answer, you are being fooled and you stand against something sinister that is not of God. This has a scriptural basis. “Dear friends, do not believe every spirit but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.” (1 John 4:1) The best way to test the spirits is asking if they love Jesus now. This identifies exactly what you are dealing with. The unHoly Angels may have loved Jesus Christ before but not after he came down from heaven, lived a sinless life, ransomed all humanity by his death and was resurrected by God, destroying the bondage of death, sin and inequity. The unHoly Angels cannot state that they love Jesus now for they are in a battle against God and Christ. They cannot claim to love Christ now and still be against Him. This is one lie they cannot make (read more in the article “Why Jesus' Life is Important Beyond Religion”).

So as you can see, it is imperative to find out who it is that is causing the problem. A ghost may have trouble with this question, a manipulated ghost will definitely have trouble with this question and a demon or unHoly Angel cannot answer this question as a “yes, I love Jesus Christ now.”

If you are given an answer of anything but a yes, you have a situation on your hands. In fact, you may even feel more oppression after clarifying what it is that you are up against. The unHoly Angels seek to do much of their work behind the scenes, and desire not to be identified. They seek to misinform, confuse, manipulate and continue to cause problems. This is why faith and Divine guidance, not fear, wins the day (read the article “Angels and Demons – The Real Story: The Truth Behind the Brotherhood of Angels”). Now you see more completely why it is so important to not just sense a problem, but to identify what it is and to have the tools to know what to do. Compare it to seeing a car pulled over on the side of the road with a flat tire. Yes, even children can recognize that the tire is flat. It is apparent for all to see. Is coming up to the person and telling them they have a flat tire as helpful as removing the flat and putting on a spare? It is about fixing the problem, not just demonstrating there is one.

So how do we identify what is going on? First, let’s consider a scale of fear from 1-10 with a “1” being no fear, and a “10” being so afraid that a person cannot go in or out of the area. In addition to the scale to identify the level of fear, let’s consider some other factors that come into play. The following questions should be answered to the best of your ability:

(1). Does this place create an overall atmosphere of fear? Do you feel uneasy or like you are being watched? What time of the day or night? (3A.M. is a favorite time for evil activity – since it is directly opposite the 3 P.M. death of Jesus)  Does this happen cyclically or in an established pattern, including in seasons or times of the month or year?

(2). Do children and/or pets get easily scared here? Are there pets that bark or hiss at seemingly nothing or act in a strange way? For instance, staring off into space at something, or appearing frightened for no apparent reason?

(3). Is it adversely affecting your physical health? Is it a place of physical harm such as bruising, scratches, pressure headaches? Does this interfere with daily life or ability to mentally/emotionally function well? Do you have strange dreams, thoughts that aren't your own or are out of the norm for you, thoughts of anger, fear, harming yourself or others? Does this interfere with your ability to work?

(4). Does this interfere with your ability to pray or hear God clearly? Does this cause strife in your relationship? Do you find you and family members are easily agitated, and perhaps argue more than usual? Is anyone living in the house on strong medications? Does anyone have/or had addictions? Is anyone having anger issues or dealing with unforgiveness issues for past hurts or abuses?

(5). Have things been moved? Are objects suddenly found to have gone missing and then reappear (for example: leaving your car keys on the table, then unable to locate them but later you return and they are right where you had left them)? Is it a place of hearing voices, seeing figures or dark shadows? Do you see movements from the corner of your eye? Are you being touched? Are there strange lights, circular shapes or discolorations in photographs taken around you or in the area of haunting?

(6). Have you or anyone in your family ever dabbled in occult practices? These include playing with a Ouija board, holding séances, visiting a psychic for a reading, Tarot cards, tea leaf reading, etc? Open portals and unHoly invitations can be caused by people dabbling in the occult, whether it is accidental or just kids reading something out of a book or a small group intent on making a supernatural link.

(7). Are there any tools of divination or objects such as idols or carvings that were given/brought from foreign countries that might be dedicated to demonic practices or cults? Have you received/purchased anything, jewelry/furniture/etc. from garage sales, antique shops or other sources where the item history is unknown? Portals can be made through an object, which may be given to another person, thus passing the connections on with it. Whether the person receiving it knows about it or not they have just made a binding contract to the demons by agreeing to accept the gift. Or if a person bought it, to the demon that contract is still as binding to the person who now owns it, as it was from the beginning by the person who first dedicated it through ritual. Not all dedicated items become portals, but the incidence is high (read the articles “Portals of Evil – Opening and Closing Them: Are Your Good Intentions Opening the Wrong Doorways?” and "Objects that are Blessed - Objects that are Cursed: Do You Own Things that are Harming You?" on the website).

(8). How long has this been happening? Did the previous owner or tenants have similar issues? Do you know of any documented history or previous problems in the home, of a haunted nature or otherwise? Has anyone died on the property? Has there been damage to the property? Have there been any modifications to the existing building or any current construction projects now underway?

(9). Is the house near a gravesite, graveyard, cemetery or burial ground? Has the property ever been blessed by a Priest or other Holy person? Are there any remarkable odors or occurrences of a foul, putrid or rotting smell? Do the lights or electricity act up frequently? Are there unusual cold spots in the house? Are there sounds that can't be logically explained, including pounding, growling or knocking sounds?

Answering yes to one or a few of these questions doesn't necessarily mean you are haunted. But answering yes to many of them definitely means there is something going on that shouldn't be ignored. It is important to understand that even if you only have a ghost, it can attract the unHoly Angels to your home, as the fear that has been generated is something that the demons seem to feed off of, creating even greater fear while seeking to cause more destruction of lives, physically, emotionally and spiritually.  

Hauntings can also be caused by curses on the land. These can date back hundreds or even thousands of years and can cause a myriad of disturbances. These curses often stem from land disputes, clashes and takeovers and can be as varied as those who make them. Similar to an item dedicated through a ritual, a binding contract is on the land that many people unknowingly inherit. Sometimes there is a central cursed artifact buried on the grounds. Sometimes one or many ghosts (often manipulated) will continue to defend their rights or cause havoc for any trespassers. A priest is needed for these tricky situations.

If a person is haunted, a Deliverance is needed. If you are one being stalked, no matter where you go you will not be able to move away from it, for its attachment is to you, not the house. Prayer is the answer. You can do the prayer of deliverance by yourself, but when an exorcism is needed or there is more against you than you know, or you are confused or wavering in faith, you will need a Priest strong in conviction to assist you in this process of receiving back your freedom. Here is the Deliverance Prayer:

“Father, if there are any unHoly Angels in, on, near or around me, I nail, hold them fast and silence them. I decommission, bind and encapsulate them through the Power of the Shed Blood of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I bring them up to your presence immediately Lord to deal with as you see fit. May you fill any empty spaces and lonely places within me with your love and your light. Thank you Father, In Jesus’ name. Amen.” Repeat the prayer as often as you feel the need. It calls in the Holy Angels to fight for you, and they always win (read the article “Are You Being Attacked? Deliverance and Exorcism – Protect Yourself and Your Loved Ones”).

A house blessing is always essential, it is a dedication of all things to the love of God. Sprinkle Holy water in each room, and anointing oil over each window while reading prayers and scriptures out loud. It is similar to doing a Deliverance on a house instead of a person, so adjust the Deliverance prayer using your authority of home ownership/resident and as a child of God recognizing the power of Christ. Put a crucifix over each door that leads to the outside, and one over each bed. Gather a group of friends and sing uplifting religious songs and call in the Holy Spirit for physical, emotional and spiritual healing on all participants. Receive an offering of communion in the house, and continue to arrange occasions for celebration and joy such as birthdays and anniversaries. Cultivate a prayerful attitude and make a sacred space or altar in the home where you go daily to pray, also making it a place where you arrange things that remind you of wonderful times in your life; for love, joy and happiness are Godly things. Make the darkest places the lightest, both spiritually and with physical lights and lamps. Love Always Wins! We humans need not ever fear being haunted, for the scripture is trustworthy and true: “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7)

Portals of Evil – Opening and Closing Them
Are Your Good Intentions Opening the Wrong Doorways?

Each year thousands of lives are injured or shattered by inadvertently opening supernatural portals of evil and destruction. Almost always these invisible doors are unlocked by people who have good intentions  but are looking for answers in the wrong places. How does this happen? Are there things that we or family members have done that have invited negative forces into our home? If so, what would the signs be? Is there something we might be unknowingly doing that open them? And more importantly, how can we safely close and lock down these demonic connections?

When we make a free will choice to receive information outside of our own self, it is imperative that we have accurate discernment to know who we are contacting. Often people accept any supernatural communication as if it is from God or someone who is trying to help us. When this supposition is wrong, it ends up in destroying the innocent, infecting homes and families, and creating a string of problems that continually harasses and follows the person, their loved ones, an item or their home.

We live in a world where what is seen with our eyes and heard with our ears is not hardly as much as the eyes and ears that see and hear us. What does this mean? There is a vast invisible world of good and evil around us every moment of every day. There are those who are good: Christ, the Holy Angels, our personal guardian Angel, loved ones who have passed on and are now in spirit form, and guides that were once alive on earth and have been sent by God to help us in an area that they are experts in. And the highest good of all, God - the Father of Divine Love himself; who desires beneficial communication with us so that we may have guidance, protection and peace in our lives.

Truly, we were not created to know everything ourselves, but to look outside of ourselves for higher wisdom - we were created with an empty God-spot that only heavenly spiritual connection can fill. Our spiritual nature is part of the great three balances that we need to attain and maintain a happy life – physical, emotional and spiritual health. Although we may try to put fame, fortune, relationships or material possessions into that spot, nothing will fill it but what it was made for – spiritual connection. So the problem is not that we are looking; the problem is how and from whom.

Not all that is invisible is there to scare us, but not all are there to help us either. There are unHoly Angels (demons) and manipulated ghosts who are all too willing to pretend to be someone they are not, and to mislead and ruin us if left unchecked. Our free will is a shield that can get holes in it, and holes open us up to attack and manipulation by these entities. This can create suffering from unexplainable, prolonged, repetitive or unusual health problems, severe depression, constant assaults on finances, physical health or family and relationships and many other debilitating problems; even to the point of wanting to commit suicide. This is the ultimate goal of evil – wanting the person to feel separated from God, their loved ones, even themselves – that they are “crazy” and hopeless and lost, so that they will ultimately destroy themselves. This is not what God wants, and there are Deliverance prayers and things we can do to become whole and free again (find the prayer in the article Are You Being Attacked? Deliverance and Exorcism at www.TiffanySnow.com).

What is the difference between being attacked and opening a portal? An attack can be a one-time thing, or occur several times through places of damage in our shield of free will. A portal is where an invitation has been made through use of a material object which now becomes a touchstone or channel for unHoly Angels to move through as they please, as many as they want, for constant attacks. This can happen on purpose, as when an object or place is dedicated to a demon by a ritual of various kinds. The object may then be given or sold to another person, thus passing the connections on with it. Whether the person receiving it knows about it or not they have just made a binding contract to the demons by agreeing to accept the gift. Or if a person bought it, to the demon world that contract is still as binding to the person who now owns it, as it was from the beginning by the person who first dedicated it through ritual. Not all dedicated items become portals, but the incidence is high. Can you see now the importance of knowing from who and where your items come? Be especially careful if items have come from out of the country, or are very old. Many portal items are considered expensive, so the person owning them may shy away from getting rid of them. But some are simple and basic to not raise undue attention.

Please note that because of individual free will, God also allows touchstones of good to be utilized as aids to help people (crucifixes, pictures of Jesus, prayer cards, the Bible, etc.) but a channel is never allowed to open as a portal through material items. For example, a person may hold a crucifix in their hand while praying for an Angel to help them, and it will be done. But the channel of connection and sending an Angel occurred because of the prayer, not because it was inherent in the item that was held. Even in places where apparitions of Mary have been seen, a high energy may be felt (all high energies leave a dusting on surrounding areas) but there is no portal. The same may be said for a religious or beloved item that has been passed down through family lines – we may feel the energy on it of love and comfort, but it has no power of its own.

A material item will never be utilized by God to create a portal for Holy Angels to have free will to go back and forth through. However, through the simple process of prayer, Angels can be given the ability to have continual authority and free will interaction to protect, guide and interact in behalf of us, the earth, and those that we pray for. In fact, special prayers called The Divine Decrees have been given for those who are living at this time of world shift, and one of the blessings they provide is the ability to call for the Holy Angels to use their own discernment to intervene in our lives at any time that they think best. And even these prayers must be repeated again within a few days – our free will interaction is needed to continue it.

UnHoly Angels have been around for thousands of years, they know the history of mankind, and have watched all the choices and interactions of your life too. So they also know what kind of things people have used as aids to contact them. These touchstone items are closely monitored by the unHoly Angels. And any new ways that people start using are also placed on the list. Some of these things are everyday items that we may not even realize have a history of divination behind them, but can be triggered as portals if we make an intention, even accidently, to do so. Even if it is not in our culture or knowledge of how it was previously used, we can damage ourselves that easily.

For example, candles have been used as centuries, for good and for bad. Holy candles are a common thing, and every church has a good supply of them, including various traditions in using them, such as lighting one in memory of a loved one who has passed. But they have also have been/are being used in ceremonies to contact the dead (who may not be the actual loved ones), worship ancestors, pay homage to demons and to ask questions of the future. Does that mean lighting a candle or having it in your home is a bad idea? No. But be aware of how you use it, since it is an item monitored high on the list. If you find yourself staring into a candle while the thought “if only I had a sign that Sunny really loves me,” or “I wish I could see grandma again” goes through your head, you might inadvertently get answers from someone you will soon wish you had never met, and it may open a portal through that item, especially if your emotion about the question is very high at the time.
 
A good rule of thumb is to preface all your important questions in a prayerful manner. Spend time in communication with God, and ask for the Holy Angels to have free will to interact in your life. Setting time aside to do this will give you peace of mind and help you not have your most pressing questions at the forefront of your mind all the time. “Be joyful always, pray continually.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16) In this way, you are asking for spiritual connection in the right way and to the right person, God. And he will provide the answers and what you need at the right time for it. You can count on it.
 
Similar to the candle, cards of all forms have been used throughout history for good and for bad. This is also why cards in the form of Tarot are a place of real danger, because the prospect of connecting to the wrong word of advice is very real. The same danger can be triggered by dowsing, numerology, palmistry, Wicca, astrology, past life regressions, séances, and Ouija boards, to list a few. These are all places where good and bad can end up getting mixed up very easily, no matter what the intention of the person might be. Surrounding yourself with white light does little good when you are saying that with one side of your mouth and the demons hear you calling them with the other. It is a mixed signal, and the Holy Angels will not answer you this way.

Think of it this way – if a person wants you to drink poison, he will not put it in water – you would taste the bitterness right away and spit it out. But if it is mixed in a sweet drink, it is more difficult to recognize, and there is a good chance you might swallow it right down, to your own demise. It is the same with information given through unclean sources. Yes, they are real connections who might have built a strong relationship with you by being 95% accurate – but watch out for that 5%, for it will kill you. We have a tendency to believe all that is said to us when most has made sense to us or been proven to be right. That is exactly where the manipulation will now come in. And the outcome the demons want is our destruction. When we have built up a place of trust with these beings through methods of divination, it is only a matter of time before they turn on us – because after all, we have chosen and made a contract.

Portals can also be caused by people dabbling in the occult, whether they are just kids reading something out of a book or a small group intent on making a supernatural link. Demonic haunting of homes and graveyards often happen in this way, and it can become a portal on the land or the building itself. What some may start out as simple curiosity can bring into the home evil that will follow and attack the person(s) or house for years and years. What can happen? Inability to think clearly, seeing dark shapes or running shadows, hearing scratching, footsteps, screaming or other voices, difficulty with prayer (especially when using the name Jesus), oppressive thoughts, being touched or shaken at night, dizziness, seeing visions of disturbing or violent images, severe aggressive or depressive mood changes, smelling rotting flesh, receiving bodily scratches, items being thrown or smashed against walls or the floor, images of demons or contorted faces in gaseous form or in window or mirror reflections, severe headaches, nausea, unexplained electrical problems, physical gagging and not being able to breathe, being pushed or tripped, feeling like you are underwater or in a wave of heaviness, and even possession itself. And if the demon has been invited through a portal, it is not just about getting rid of the current offending demon(s), but also closing the door so no more come.

How do you cleanse an unclean item? Bless it with Holy Water, and any negative energy dusting will disappear. If the item is still dark, bust it up, put it in the ground, burn it in a safe place, and cover it back up. It must be totally destroyed so no one else could ever use it. How do you close a portal? Find the offending item, the trigger – whether it is a room in the house or the object. Prayer is essential, for this is a war you are fighting, and you must cleanse the area by the authority and confidence you have by faith. Your winning team is God, his Holy Angels, and his son, Jesus Christ. It is by the name of Christ that you can cast the demons out, and close the portal. It is not a time for fear. This means if you are afraid, call in those who have a stronger faith than you. When you ask another to do it for you and they agree, a new contract now exists for good, and the cleansing can occur in your behalf. “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.”(Zechariah 4:6)

A house blessing is essential, a dedication of all things to the God of Love, and a choice of turning away from the things that caused the problems to begin with. “Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” (James 4:7) Sprinkle Holy water in each room, and anointing oil over each window while reading prayers and scriptures out loud. It is similar to doing a Deliverance on a house instead of a person, so adjust the Deliverance prayer and use it. Be specific about where you are casting out the demons to - do not simply cast them out of your area, or to the desert or back where they came from - send the demons to God to deal with as he sees fit. Put a crucifix over each door that leads to the outside, and one over each bed. Also be specific in your wording that you know you have the authority as a child of God through the name of Jesus Christ to close the portal and that it will be done. Whether you are a Christian or not, all the demons know who Jesus is and the authority he has over them (read Why Jesus’ Life is Important Beyond Religion). Gather a group of friends and sing uplifting religious songs and call in the Holy Spirit for physical, emotional and spiritual healing on all participants. Receive an offering of communion in the house, and continue to arrange occasions for celebration and joy such as birthdays and anniversaries. Cultivate a prayerful attitude and make a sacred space or altar in the home where you go daily to pray, also making it a place where you arrange things that remind you of wonderful times in your life; for love, joy and happiness are Godly things. Make the darkest places the lightest, both spiritually and with physical lights and lamps.

And remember that no matter how bad it may seem, you are already a child of God and have the authority as his child to call on him whenever you like, and he will send Holy Angels to fight for you and protect you. But you must take action to do so. “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.” (Matthew 7:7,8) And this door, happily, is one you can open any time, and can trust with your life.
